“I have been going to Northgate True Value for 23 years. Though some of the selection s are limited compared to the big box stores, I find that most of the time, I can get what I need. I like the smaller floorplan. Since they don't claim to be an appliance store, a lumber yard, a furniture store, or a nursery, if it's hardware I am after, I can get in and out of there. I don't have to wait at the "customer service" button. It's unusual to get very far without being asked if I need assistance. Also, many of the people working at NTV have experience with the project I am on. They are always friendly and knowledgeable and genuinely happy to help. Keeping customer service alive and well these days means so much. In the days of AI, "go to our website," and calling a script-reading employee across the globe, Northgate is one of the few islands of human interaction left. Please don't ever change that True Value. And well-behaved dogs are welcome.”
