They do not provide a way to give zero stars so I will generously give it one star more than they deserve.I went into this feeling optimistic. Everything sounded good over the phone and I understood I would be a new client so it took a couple of weeks to get my dog in. Office visit upfront for new patient? OK, not unheard of I guess and no reason to think badly at this point.Fast forward from February 2nd, first contact to today, the 13th. First ones there, even before the door were unlocked. After going in and talking to the tech, it was going to be sedated nail trim and take care of the rest of the visit purpose (vaccinations, health check, etc while she was under). First call at 9:56AM was just to see how she was doing. The one of the call was she was getting along fine with what was being done and would get a call when she was ready to pick up. I call back at 1:46PM and explain I really need to know the time we are looking for her to be ready due to work related activities on my end. The receptionist went back to get one of the tech's on the phone with me. As it would turn out they had done NOTHING with the dog. FIVE HOURS sitting in wherever they decided to confine her and no shots, no nothing except "the vet will be on soon" so I told them I am coming to get her.Not only do they come off as cruel and uncaring, they take no accountability there. It is out of their hands, it is because of this just a smirk as you collect your stressed out pet and leave for good. I am seeing what other actions I can take for this incident and give it the incident as much exposure as possible.-in response to Dr Eddleman's response: The fact you see it as a "special circumstance" that a pet owner takes issue with your office setting the time and then letting an animal sit for FIVE HOURS because "your vet wasn't here this morning" and nothing communicated until almost 2PM in the afternoon which I had to solicit is almost breathtakingly callous and uncaring. I see the issues here start at the top.

Not a great experience. My dog has a urine infection and the office was booked 5 days out. My dog has been a patient there for a long time and I have taken several pets there over the years. The receptionist had only one suggestion and thst was to take her to Fishers. A long ride for a dog who isn't feeling well. Didn't even bother to ask a vet She just needed antibiotics. She was just there not too long ago .Not much compassion. I made an appointment for her tomorrow for her someplace else. That's just it. Your office did see her a few months ago for the same thing and you gave her antibiotics. My bill was pretty high This receptionist insteadi ofchecking with someone argued and disconnected my call. It wasn't her dog that was in pain. When every post ends with "We are here for you" a bit disappointing when you obviously weren't.

Honestly, I was skeptical and apprehensive to see a new vet today, but was pleasantly surprised by Dr. Grimm. I was very impressed with his compassion for our situation and his care for our cat, Jaspurr. I highly recommend Dr. Grimm (and staff Jodi and Aubree) at South Anderson Veterinary Clinic!

No answer when I called. Are they still open?Edit. Thank you for the reply, Dr. Eddleman. I am searching for a new vet for my large amount of furry family. The next time I require services I will hit you up. Thank you for replying and having a solid business model to focus on staff moral and animal care.

South Anderson Veterinary Clinic is great. Our dog became ill and our normal vet clinic was short-staffed. Their sister Clinic is SAVC. I called, and they were able to see her as an emergency patient. She was eventually sent on to an emergency critical care clinic in Ft. Wayne, but the folks at SAVC were kind, attentive, and initially diagnosed what is going on with our pup. While we are still working through the diagnosis, we appreciate the great work the folks at SAVC are doing.

Very friendly, great with our animals, don't push or try to force treatments your not there to discuss with very reasonable prices. When you ask for a quote, it is very detailed leaving very little for surprise. Very happy with tye vets and techs.

Had to get my little dog in right away. Most places have a two week out schedule. She needed an assessment on quality of life.Had to make a very hard decision. All the ones, that work with her, were caring and compassionate.

Everyone at the clinic was helpful, compassionate and responsive! In our time of need the entire staff went the extra mile to help us! I truly thought the end was near for my pet - but low and behold she has made a full recovery! Thank You SAVC from the bottom of my heart! ❤️

Horrible place took our dog payed $356 for them to say there's nothing wrong other than arthritis. So we took her to Elwood vet who knew before they even did X-rays there was a problem in her stomach after X-rays they discovered a large tumor in abdominal area.

We brought in a stray/feral cat for a health check up, to get vaccinated, and the end goal of getting him neutered. We were told you were scheduling surgeries in November, but after the attempting to weigh the cat and him being uncooperative, we were then told the doctor would do the surgery the next day. We greatly appreciate the doctor coming in on their day off to do the surgery as I did not know how I was going to coax the cat into a carrier again in two months for the surgery. Thank you for the accommodating us and working with us. We appreciate all of your efforts. We now have a healthy cat who will not contribute to the overpopulation of stray cats.

The entire staff are always helpful, professional, knowledgeable and caring. We unfortunately have had to make very tough decisions regarding our furry family members and they give honest and compassionate feedback and care. Thank you!
