“The people who work at this branch are really there for you when you need them the most! My husband and I were recently purchasing a new vehicle (all the way down in Fort Wayne) and at the last minute considered that it might be a good idea to reach out to our credit union to see if we could get a better interest rate than what they were offering us at the dealership. We reached out to Lindsey at the Angola branch, where we do our banking and she went to work on our loan right away. Before the close of business, we walked out with an awesome car and at a 2% lower interest rate than we were going to get through the dealer. I also appreciate how hard she worked behind the scenes for us because we are both self-employed and there were a lot of extra hoops to jump through to get us the very best financing possible. And she did all of this at break neck speed on a Friday afternoon considering the decision to involve ProFed was a last-minute idea! She also saved us an additional $175 application fee on the dealer end that we would never have known about. That is what you call a personal banker! We are very happy ProFed customers for life!”

“The Angola branch people are wonderful. The corporate thinking as a whole doesn't care about customer service. Every time I have to deal with a mortgage issue I get pushed to a corporate number and these people are rude and not understanding. I tried getting a good rate on car loan a while ago but I ended up going through a smaller bank who appreciated my excellent credit rating even more and ended up with a better rate than 5/3 could give. If your escrow drops, watch out because they will give you less than two weeks to come up with a much larger mortgage payment. Thanks 5/3 for valuing me as an important customer. They really don't care and they make it quite clear. And one more thing - if you have to stop a vendor from auto billing your account even after you tell them not to, 5/3 will do nothing to avoid future payments from being taken from your account and they will point the finger at you for initiating auto bill in the first place. I've had one vendor that I have been trying to stop after 5 months ! Not kidding - and it's still ongoing. As a local bank they are great people but unfortunately the company these nice people work for has no compassion or concerns for the customer.”
