TLDR: PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS, USE A DIFFERENT BANK.I had an incredibly frustrating experience with BMO Harris Bank that I feel compelled to share. My interactions with this bank's branch managers left me utterly disappointed and dissatisfied. It's evident that their primary objective is to rush customers out the door as quickly as possible, rather than genuinely assisting them.My encounters with the branch managers were characterized by impatience and indifference. They appeared disinterested in addressing my concerns and lacked the willingness to provide helpful guidance. Instead of taking the time to understand my banking needs, they seemed more focused on moving onto the next customer. This blatant disregard for customer service left me feeling undervalued and frustrated.Furthermore, the incompetence of the bank's staff at the branch was astounding. They demonstrated a shocking lack of knowledge about even the most basic functions of their own banking app. I asked them simple questions about how to use the app, and I received vague and inaccurate responses that only added to my confusion. It's disheartening when the very people who are supposed to be experts on their own services cannot provide accurate information.To make matters worse, it became apparent that some employees would say anything to expedite the customer's departure, regardless of whether it was helpful or truthful. This blatant dishonesty eroded any trust I had in the bank's staff.In conclusion, my experience with BMO Harris Bank was marked by negative customer service, unhelpful branch managers, and a shocking lack of knowledge among the branch staff. It is disheartening to witness such a disregard for customer satisfaction and competence in a banking institution. I would strongly advise potential customers to consider other options before entrusting their financial needs to BMO Harris Bank.

Want a bank who doesn't care about their customers? Want a bank that will randomly close your accounts without notice? Want a bank that will reverse your payments, mismanage your money, take over 3 business days to process payments? The list goes on! If you are looking for a reckless gamble, horrible customer service and zero accountability then look no further than BMO!! This institution should not be in business. Zero stars.

Horrible horrible place. Outsource most everything they can to India. Outsource everything else to fly by night domestic companies. Will "invest" your money for 2% gains over 5 years in bad funds and growth etfs all while turning your cash over and over. No respect for woman and coerce workers to do things against lawful practices. Bmo will be dissolved within 10 years

Extremely dissatisfied with the attitude and service (lack thereof) with the employees of the Avon Indiana BMO Harris bank branch. I was first denied access to the lobby to conduct business inside, but was met at the front door (didn't even have a chance to put my hand on the door) by a man who did not identify himself, was wearing a black mask and asked me if I had a mask. I told him that I have a religious and a medical exemption. At which time, he denied me access to the lobby, with his person (he was actually blocking the doorway with his body) and said they would help me at the drive thru. I said "fine". When I went thru the drive thru, the lady who waited on me did not have a mask on. I asked her why she wasn't wearing a mask and she told me because of the 6foot rule. I also asked her the name and position of the man who denied me access to the lobby. He came over to the window and I asked him his name and position at this branch since he was acting as a policy enforcer; he was not wearing a name tag. He told me "that depends upon what you intend to do with the information. And walked away. I did not know that BMO Harris employees were supposed to neglect giving just basic information to a customer who requests it politely. I drove around front to take a photo of the sign and address to document the location and time of the event. The unnamed man then came out, went behind my vehicle and wrote my license number down and said "we are calling the police". Since I was not behaving even in an impolite manner, unlike the man at the BMO Harris Avon Indiana branch (who I assume is a manager?), I considered it harassing for him to threaten me in the manner he did, especially when I had done nothing wrong, and I had not violated his civil rights, as he so clearly had violated mine. I dont recommend this bank to anyone who values good service, and their God given rights as a living man or woman.I took a photo of the employee who wasn't wearing a mask, and the nearly empty lobby. IThe lobby was virtually empty.I am disappointed with the lack of knowledge of my civil rights that the employee

Horrible! This bank robbed me. Avon, IN location. They took $500 out of my account and hasn’t given it back. Their atm didn’t dispense my money and said transaction canceled. When I called to get it rectified I was lied to and they didn’t return my money. If a citizens robs someone they go to jail so what is the consequence for a bank that robs people? We will find out very soon.
