I didn't know there was a CVS inside Target until maps told me.The only thing you can get at this CVS is your prescriptions. I couldn't use My Humana spending card there because it was all target's merchandise.

I've been going to this pharmacy for years, since when Ms. Marquisa was there. She was amazing and recognized me whenever I came there and made me a loyal customer. A lot of changes happened over Covid (sadly Ms. Marquisa was no longer there), and I don't know what the problem is with CVS hiring the amount of staff members needed - whatever you need to pay, pay them, and treat them right.Ms. Jane and Mr. Trent are such knowledgeable pharmacists and do their best to help me and others, even though CVS obviously did not give them the support staff they needed and they were constantly overburdened. When there was a shortage of my medication, Ms. Jane went above and beyond to see me as a person in need and try to help me, and not just me but making sure a very ill little boy got the medicine he needed before closing. When you have health problems, this is the kind of person you hope is on the other side of the pharmacy counter and not someone who just treats you like a number.Anyone reading this, if you want to be seen as a person, this is the pharmacy for you. And CVS hiring mangers, if you're reading this, hire more techs! Offer whatever it is you need to offer to actually get them to apply. You have wonderful pharmacists - support them with the staff they need, and please do what you have to in order to hold on to your staff that builds relationships with people, because that's what actually keeps customers loyal to this location (even though it's a chain), when there are many options available.EDIT: Also to the people saying the pharmacists are "rude," I've seen customers in the long lines say awful mean things when there's only one pharmacist behind the counter doing their best. I'd be willing to bet the same people who cuss out someone just trying to do their job then also come here and post nasty reviews. Don't blame the one person having to do the job of 2-3 people in a busy day - blame the store for not hiring the staff needed and/or not offering the requisite pay and conditions. And remember that even though we've been told our whole lives that "the customer is always right," every worker you talk to is also a person and deserves to be treated like one.

This is a really busy pharmacy, but I have honestly never had an issue with the staff or their willingness to help me out. They have even spent time to make sure that I’m not paying crazy costs for my medications when insurance or brands or whatever cause a price hike. I do try to plan ahead and make sure they have plenty of time to fill my prescriptions (whenever it is reasonable), even still, they are always really timely with filling my meds.

Jane is very rude and uncooperative. She did not want to help my brother find his policy number and when we came back with it she then told us he could not even fill MD wise there and proceeded to blankly stare at him without a solution. Then she told him instead of her calling the walgreens to transfer the prescription herself, we would have to have them call her. So we did and waited for a whole hour for her to send it over. She had not. They had to call her AGAIN. So I'm waiting for his prescription of antibiotics he needed hours ago to arrive in order for them to be able to fill it. Go to walgreens on raceway and Rockville. They usually work promptly and efficiently.

There was only one pharmacist working on a busy day. My prescription was not ready when I got there. They received it last week. The pharmacist asked me to come back in 30 minutes. I did only to wait in line for 30 minutes and my prescription still hadn’t been filled. This is the 3rd time I have had an issue at this location. I will not be back.

They left me on hold for 20 minutes then the machine took me back to the beginning of the prompts and turns out THEY CLOSE AT 5 PM. CALLED TO SEE IF THEY TRANSFERRED MY SCRIPT OUT AT 4:40 AND THEY JUST LEFT ME ON HOLD.

I like to get my prescriptions filled at this location in Avon located inside Target because I'm a dedicated Target shopper and it makes things convenient. But today is the last day I'll be getting prescriptions filled at this location because the staff do everything to make it inconvenient. The hours are odd as they open late and close early and every single time I visit they have ONE staff member handling everything so there's always lines of people waiting. This is the ONLY pharmacy I visit that is notoriously understaffed, even on busy days like a Saturday morning/afternoon. This morning I stopped in and there was a long line. The tech was doing something on the computer, but not acknowledging the long line of guests waiting. She had not greeted anyone or apologized for the wait. She finally took two people in front of me and then when it was my turn she just walked away with no "I'll be with you in one moment" or anything. When I pointed it out she snapped at me that she's "the only one there". Okay, i understand that but how about acknowledge my presence before just walking away. Today was the last straw because this location is always understaffed so I'll be switching to Meijers pharmacy who is always fully staffed and helpful. The woman in front of me mentioned she'd be switching as well. CVS in Target Avon HIRE MORE STAFF, or don't but you've lost a customer . Still, There should be more than one person working a pharmacy!

Booked a vaccine appointment, received a confirmation email and multiple texts. I showed up and the pharmacy is just completely closed. No note, nothing. Went to customer service to inquire further and was told, “the person scheduled to work the pharmacy is out sick today.” No plan. No guidance. Unprofessional and a huge waste of my time taking off work, etc. Are they short staffed? If so, why, management? Shouldn’t a company as big as CVS have a plan to notify customers and remove appointment slots for this if they’re unavailable? What is management doing to prevent these issues? This is incredibly frustrating as a customer.

Signed up at CVS online for a flu shot appointment at 11:30. Was able to check in on cell upon arriving at this Target CVS at 11:20 and went to the Pharmacy counter at 11:25. My advice is to not count on the appt times - they were taking walk-ins too, so there was a long wait. The clinician who gave the shots was so nice and cleaned the chair thoroughly between patients. It was nice that this location administers the shot in the open aisle of the store vs having to go into an enclosed possible germy clinic room.
