Shelves aren't well-stocked. One of the prescriptions I needed to get filled had been out of stock for over a year. I was directed to a shelf that was supposed to have a possible OTC substitute, but there was nothing resembling the med I needed. Disappointing. I found a few non- medical-related items I needed.

I called this Pharmacy looking for medicine that my Pharmacy is out of, they don't have it either. I'm going to have to quit taking my medicine.

When I go through the drive thru at Meijer pharmacy on Rockville Rd in Avon their always pretty quick even if there is a long line. And the pharmacy technician are always very nice. I would recommend Meijer pharmacy in Avon in to anyone ?

Poor customer service. Dropped my prescription off for processing and advised to allow until 2:30pm to pick it up. Just to be sure I arrived at 2:42pm to give cushion time. At pick up window technician Ivan ,explained my order was not ready. "It will be another 20 minutes". When I mentioned the 2:30 pick up time he responded," that is just the way it is". Now, I understand schedules get behind. This is acceptable. What is not acceptable is how Ivan responded. The appropriate , professional response should have been. "I apologize for the delay" . Sorry for the inconvience. There are several complaints on this site related to poor customer service. Certainly, my future prescriptions will be filled elsewhere. The options are numerous. But, for the sake of representing the company, they should do better.

Not happy at all. I had hospital send the Rx to Meijer Avon. It included a generic for an expensive blood thinner. I was told they had to order it, and they would call me when it came in. Was told a couple of days. I waited 3 days, heard nothing. I called the pharmacy and was told they couldnt order the product from the manufacturer. They DID NOT CALL ME like they said they would. Now I need to find a pharmacy that I can get the product all over again

Incompetent, and rude. My doctor made an order to fill for brand medication after experiencing bad side effects on a new generic. Staff went from telling me that nothing was on file despite the app saying otherwise, to telling me it would be ready in an hour. Came back to another staff member reading the same script, just to tell me they couldn’t fill the brand medication. Now I have to go yet another day without proper medication.

I wouldn't give it any stars if I had my choice and I will never fill a script or shop at this meijer Ever Again. They kicked out my insurance in the system then replaced it with good rx and express scripts and have been charging me for scripts the last 2 months and charged me twice for one medication AND WILL NOT DO A DAMN THING ABOUT IT. complete incompetence and just bad business. Never again. But I am filing complaints with the BBB and the states attorney General. I am done with these Thieves.

I've had some questionable experiences with the staff of this location, but Joy is a human manifestation of her name and is excellent to work with. She is kind, compassionate, extremely helpful, and was a pleasure to speak to.

Called on Thursday they said plenty of pain meds in stock had doctor send script to them went to pick up Saturday to be told out of stock till Monday if they get any at all beware of this game!

I’m so glad I don’t fill here anymore. The staff was condescending, unprofessional, and untimely. Constant miscommunication between Plainfield pharmacy. They almost never had my full prescription. My experience with this pharmacy was disheartening from a staff with no empathy and immature behaviors. Even the pharmacist . If you have any life altering illnesses. Please don’t go here! You will be leaving with no medicine for what ails you and only tears from the lack of care.

Update: three years later and still.. Ridiculous slow filling prescriptions every time I come. It’s always a disconnect with staff and doctors. I’m waiting asthma medications for over two hours. Thank you for helping me breathe. I’m so frustrated and irritated.* why not tell your customers your out of their medications. Just wait all day for a med they don’t have in stock.

This pharmacy is severely incompetent. Repeated lost prescriptions after they confirmed they had it. Told me they had my prescription and to wait an hour then 1.5hrs later pharmacist came and told me they didn't have it.
