I do love this park and the separation of areas for smaller dogs or dogs that prefer to be more alone. Overall it's well-maintained. My one request is for more dog toys to be available. I'm not sure if maybe other dog owners have taken prior toys or maybe they've been tossed due to overuse, but I've only seen one small tennis ball thrower and a broken tennis ball. Otherwise I do appreciate the water station and covered seating for owners to set.

No idea why this place isn't more busy. It's huge, water on site, has shade, and three separate sections to keep dogs that might not like each other separated.

This park is beautiful! It's well maintained and looks fun for older kids too. There plenty of seating everywhere and bathrooms located right next to it. There's a basketball court and volleyball nearby. Plenty of shelters to plan a bbq or just chill. We came here to this park for a program that was at the pavilion center and the center and it's surrounding area was nice too. There's even a splash park and trails nearby. If we ever drive 40 mins from the center of the city again I'd def come back here

I travel for work so I'm only here a short time. This is Thee saddest dog park I've ever been to. For a $50 annual fee, it's definitely not worth it unless you live very close. Now I'm out of $50 and I probably won't visit often. Should've paid the $10 daily fee instead to see if I liked it. It's pretty small if you ask me, although others would say it's big, it's really not. The pictures are deceiving, it's on the smaller end. Google Sycamore and Quinn dog park in Madison Wisconsin, nowTHOSE are big. Maybe that's just what I'm use to. It was such a beautiful and breezy day out today sure it was hot but there was shade available which I did appreciate but there was one dog there who didn't want to play. I asked the owner of the pooch is the park usually this dead, she said "yes, usually but it's a hit or miss" a gentleman then arrived with his dog as she was leaving and I asked the same question, he said the exact same thing. Said it's usually more during the evening, it was after 5pm :/ I guess not that day? Maybe I'll try again but after 7p? When it's not as hot. The only reason I'm giving it a two star is bcuz I did meet two nice people there. The key card they originally gave me didn't work so I had to drive back to the office and switch it out, then drive back to the park. Luckily it wasn't too far but gas isn't cheap these days. They don't answer their phones, you have to leave a message with Danielle just to have her call you back HOURS later. So I tried to call someone else about the card to see if they could manually activate it from their office or something so I didn't have to drive back but nope, Danielle and Stephanie were the only ones who could help. I then asked to be transferred to Stephanie and they couldn't. Driving back was way more convenient than playing phone tag.

An arguably awful way to welcome travelers to the town of avon. $50 annual pass...and locked gate. what is this? I have traveled for the past two years and never gave I encountered a privatized dog park on public land. If you're coming, bring 1/2 and 9/16 socket to bypass security measures (on this laughable dog park)

Park itself is great and has plenty of amenities. But if you're not a local who knows their hours then after 9PM you'd be stranded. If they have enough money to upkeep a nice park you think they'd have enough money for some more schedules around the park or even an option at the gates to dial in for assistance. Poor management in that aspect and main reason I would not recommend this park to any non-local resident.

I am so glad this Park was built. So much of Avon doesn't have sidewalks or trails and this is a great option to get out with the pups and let them get some exercise. They have one smaller section for small dogs and one large section.

This park is huge spanning over 160 acres. It is a very nice park that has tons of amenities and parking. It is a very well maintained park, especially considering its size. It is also home to the Avon HS Cross Country team. It the front they have a full basketball court that is pretty decent, a sand volleyball court, a gazebo, and 2 covered shelters that you can reserve. Each shelter has grills and picnic tables. There are also picnic tables scattered around the area, an open field that is well maintained, and a small lake. The lakes are rumored to be stocked, but I did not see anyone fishing. You will also find a very nice playground up there that has a jungle gym for small kids and one for bigger kids. The ground is covered with shredded tires. The playground also has a cargo net to climb, tire swings and regular swings. if you venture to the other part of the park in the back that is where you will find over 5 miles of paved trails, a splash pad, an outdoor fitness area, a reception hall, an small amphitheater, another lake with a fountain, 2 more covered shelters with picnic tables and grills, restroom facilities and another playground. The playground is very nice and is lined with a rubbery surface and has equipment including swings, monkey bars and other stuff that looked like it was purchased from Ikea. This is an awesome park and a great part of the Avon community. They have tons to do and can keep an entire family busy for hours. This place is very scenic and has some picturesque bridges and landscape. It is also home to the historic 1876 Whipple Iron Truss.

This park is so large and has so much to offer because of it. Coming in off the street you hit the main playground and parking areas with basketball court and volleyball. There is a bigger play structure and a smaller one, but even the bigger is suitable for younger ages. There is lots of grass and a covered picnic table area surrounding the playground. If you drive all the way to the back of the lot it will take you down a wooded path under the train bridge and back to the splash pad. The splash pad is nice with lots of tables and benches with umbrellas, unlike many others. There is also a bigger kid small playground right next to the splash pad with two covered picnic table areas with bathrooms (great for parties). There are also clearly marked trails, as well as many other made paths to get you to the creek to stomp and play. You can pretty much do anything you want here, great for families with all ages. The one downside is the summer camps play here and pretty much take over all parts of courts and playgrounds, avoid these times.

It is a nice park....But it's $10/day. There's a good pavilion and fresh water. Solid fence and gate. It's a good park. Just expensive for a day pass (we're out of town visitors). I couldn't see any agility equipment that made the park worth the cost ? because it's just a gated field.
