I visited during lunch. It is a very nice park. It has an obstacle course for kids & some adults. I went in the nature center to look at the turtles. The lovely ladies that work that are so friendly & offered help if I needed anything. They are very knowledgeable. There are a lot of things to do. Check the event wall. There will be a halloween fun event soon. I will definitely visit again when the weather is cooler. The pond has pretty ducks in it.

We enjoyed a wonderful time at Pecar Park today! Paws and Pages reading program was delightful! Visiting the numerous habitats in the center was so interesting! The kids enjoyed some time on the playground and giant size chess game!

Well maintained park with a large open area. However, the visitor center and restrooms have always been closed the six or seven times I have been there.

Attended a first birthday party at Pecar Park Nature Center. Everything was clean and although it was extremely hot outside the day of the party, it was kept very comfortable inside the building. Being able to see all the animals kept inside was pretty cool. Would definitely recommend.Playground: Kids definitely enjoyed the playground. It had rains a lot before we attended but everything dried up very quickly when sun came out.Restrooms: We only used the restrooms inside the building, but they were spacious and kept clean and well stocked.

Peaceful and quiet park in a beautifu area. When I take the kids, they are usually the only ones there. They play on the huge disc swing, and so do I. The new little trail is fun, too.

I go to this park about everyday to walk the property and the trails in the woods. It's a gem for the Avon community with animals, playground, pond, trails, camp sites etc etc. All in all it's one of my favorite parks in the community and can't wait for what they do in the coming years.Playground: Plenty of space and activity for kids.Restrooms: Restrooms are accessible on the side of the welcome center building.Dog-friendliness: You can take your dogs around the trail and property but be courteous and pick up after them.
