After upgrading, we found out that they did not add the device protection that we wanted AND they charged us for not returning a device. The promo was upgrade and get a free iPad, Apple Watch, etc. I chose the tablet while my wife chose the watch. They then charged us for not returning her old watch that was purchased outside of Verizon and never had a line (it wasn't even cellular compatible). Have been continuing to try to get the $400+ refund for MONTHS now.

Bad experience bad service I’ve always purchased here literally felt racial discrimination by another Latin person crazy 2 white people walked in where helped before me they just took my name down didn’t say anything waited saw other people being attended walked up ask how long he didn’t even look at me or answer my question another person that don’t work there said 45 min there in lunch would have been nice if they let me know before I even signed up waited there 20 min for a answer of 45 min never going back

Horrible service- I had to call tech support from inside their store, while their staff sat and waited to help other people. I was dismissed by multiple employees who stated they couldn’t fix the issue and swore I needed someone through tech support- I went to another store who fixed it, no issue, no tech support. Go to the Plainfield store don’t go here. Employees don’t have the training or expertise to help, and the manager was more willing to pass me a phone number instead of helping.

Been a verizon customer for 10+ years , one thing I can say is that for the last 10 years this one store has consistently had the most rude people are there really slow and they refused to help ,bad sim card ,phone don't work, won't help, phone in the locker can't get it out ,won't help if you ever seen the Chappelle show where they're at popcopy that's basically this a Verizon store

Had a great experience, a young man named Gabriel was very helpful and friendly. He easily took care of what I needed to do and offered to help me with other things I need while I was there.

About to switch services, always rude, not willing to help solve any problem or give any effort. They should probably get a regional manager to help bring this place up on skills training or customer service

My wife wrote a review. I just want to add there are a lot of 1 star reviews here. Maybe it’s time that Verizon Wireless steps in and makes some changes to the Avon Store. No one deserves to be treated the way we were today! Avoid this store at all costs.

If I could give this store zero stars, I would. I came in to return a phone case after an already terrible experience the first time I visited. Since I didn’t get a receipt with my original purchase, I tried a different Verizon location — they couldn’t process the return without it and sent me back here.
When I arrived, a staff member was standing around, clearly available, but flat-out refused to help me. They told me to wait for someone else — not because they were busy, but because they just didn’t feel like doing it. I then wasted 40 minutes watching this employee do nothing while I waited for someone else to free up.
This level of laziness and disregard for customers is beyond unacceptable. Verizon should seriously rethink who they hire at this location because this was hands down the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I won’t be coming back — and I’ll be telling everyone I know to avoid this store too.

Got Text msg offer from Verizon. Trade in old phone for up to $1000
Went to this store. Showed text msg to agent. Was given new phone alone with instructions on how to transfer old phone information to new phone. Never was old phone trade in discussion.
Month later, get phone bill. Obviously new phone was charged to me. Called Verizon *611
Was told I had 30 more days to take old phone back to store.
TODAY I went to the store. Per the agent. There was no account of a trade in offer for me. Left store, called *611
Verizon agent informed me i was correct and to go back to the store.
This time the manager met me. I let him speak to the Verizon agent.
He informed us He WAS NOT TAKING THE PHONE
Im in the situation I'm in because this Store failed to handle the transaction properly.
After being on the phone with Verizon and hour.
The credit is pending, while I have to take the old phone to a different location to drop it off.
Your lack of help, both with me and the Verizon agent on the phone is pathetic.
You failed to perform up to standard .
I will never use your location for service again.
Your not good representatives of Verizon.
You give this company a bad name.

Went in today to trade in my old S20 Ultra for a new S25 Ultra. Gabriel did an outstanding job helping me with the options and setup. Great experience!

Gabriel was our representative today. He lived up to his name and was an angel. He helped my mother get a few complicated problems solved and was incredibly patient with us. He's a kind thoughtful young man who spent about an hour with 2 old ladies and never once did he appear impatient or in a hurry. He gave us his time and attention and we are so grateful for that! Thank you to Gabriel and to Verizon for having him there! All the problems were solved!
