Worst pharmacy EVER!! If you have any choice move your stuff across the street to CVS! You will sit on hold forever and be lucky if you don't get cut off. GARBAGE!!!

I have been very disappointed in this Walgreens. It is right across from my house but I am transferring all my meds to a pharmacy 10 miles away. The reason is because this pharmacy is constantly out of stock, delayed, and just down right rude! I would suggest you go to another Walgreens, or a CVS, or even Walmart!

Made an appointment to get covid booster and flu shot for noon. Checked in Right at noon. No one in line at the pharmacy. Pharmacists give the shots. 2 pharmacists on duty. The pharmacist called another person back to get her shot. took 3 minutes then came out and started helping with the line of people that was starting g to grow. He took care of about 10 ppl before finally calling me back 50 minutes later for a quick shot. Why make an appointment? Also the pharmacist who checked me in did not note that I had signed up for the flu shot as well so when I finally got called back -there was no flu shot. I left without it. I dont understand why we made an appointment. I would have been taken care of much quicker had they just take people in line back for the shot

I just got some vaccines here. Quick and easy. Friendly staff! 5-7 minute wait. Pharmacist Grant very friendly!

Today I was afraid. I went to Walgreens Pharmacy in Avon Indiana Highway 36. I stood in line patiently waiting to pick up my prescription. I was behind a lady that had too adorable little girls. We had small chit chat. The pharmacist came out and opened the second register to the right. After waiting in line for about 15 to 20 minutes. I was next so I stepped to his register. I gave him my name and set these 5 items on the counter. He said" I am only going to ring up your prescriptions and that's nothing else. He said for these items you will have to get in line up front and let them ring you out. ". I said why can't you ring theses items. All you have to do is get the scan gun and ring. He then raised his voice at me and said. "Don't you see I have "THESE" customers waiting in line. You will need to go up to the front and ring these out. I said "Am I not a customer ?" He said you will have to go up front I am not ringing up those items. I said it does not make since for me to wait in line here for 20 minutes and then go up to the front and get in the back of that line and wait another 20. He then turned his back to get my prescriptions. I said to the customer and the cashier next to me. "Why can't he just rings these things up? It would take him all of 2 seconds." She looked at me and she looked at her customer she was waiting on and grabbed the scanner and rang them up. By this time I was so embarrassed and I felt tears welling up. I was afraid to look at the people behind me. I was afraid, he then said I raised my voice and tried to make it like I was disturbing the peace. By this time, I was so discombobulated I could not remember my last 4 of my phone number or if I put my card in the scanner. All that flashed in my mind was him calling the police on me saying I was disrupting the peace and me getting arrested or even worse. I was afraid for my life. I even put my hands in the air as if being arrested so any good Samaritan could see I was not armed. My face was burning and tears were starting to sting my eyes all because of these items. I was afraid at any moment a security person was going to take me down. So I ask Walgreens " AM I NOT A CUSTOMER?

Edit previous review it is REALLY ZERO starsI am on my 3rd call hold (52 minutes, hang up: 32 minutes hang up: so far 10 minutes and I am taking bets on being hung up) note, I do not gamble it is a sure thing I will get hung up on yet again. How do companies like this stay in business?

If I could score zero, I would. BTW - This applies only to the Pharmacy services. The rest of the store has been good to us the 9+ years that we have gone there. I had scheduled a Covid-19 vaccine appointment for my kids at 2:15 pm and 2:30 pm. We were signed in around 2:25 pm. There was no one ahead of us. There were ostensibly 4 staff members in their med garb milling around. I suppose they were not qualified to give the jab. At 2:55 pm, we told one of the staff members that we had another doctors appointment at 3:15 pm that we could not miss. She didn't seem to care or did not compute the urgency. Forget about even seeming remotely concerned that they were totally blowing the appointment timing. A few minutes after that she handed me 4 forms to fill out. Unbelievable!!!! In the 40+ mins we were there, someone could not have given me those forms???? Wow!! The level of ineptitude, apathy, and lackadaisical attitude was flabbergasting. We left for the next appointment. We came back hoping we would be moved to the front. No such luck. You can't fix poor customer service. Never again are we going to go to Walgreens for pharmacy work. In fact that horrible experience will actually affect us going back there for routine items. This is how customers leave!

I mean really these poor people who are working on Thanksgiving so that we can quickly run and get a couple items we forgot to get at Walmart. There is nothing not to like, quick, convenient, and friendly service with a smile. I sure don't understand all these other poor reviews. Think about what it must feel like to work at a drug store geeez all the sick people running in to get medicine. You couldn't pay me enough to work at a place like this. Thanks to all these hard workers helping out the local neighborhoods around this area. I can't imagine what it feels like to stay open during a time like this. I will say they don't pay you enough to do it. Hope all the workers stay safe and all the impatient people can slow down a minute and put themselves in your shoes. God Bless, 5 out of 5

They have an option to have your FedEx packages shipped there. What they don't tell you on the website is they don't take packages with LithiumIon batteries. My FedEx package said delivered and signed for by a person. After 4 hours of being on the phone with both FedEx and Walgreens. The Walgreens manager later called me in inform me that they had actually rejected my package. I finally had my package delivered I had to go to their facility on W Morris. During one of the phone calls to Walgreens their system they have when I called misrouted my call to the pharmacy and the lady I spoke with had a bad attitude, I explained my situation and she was like "this is the pharmacy what can I do" in a very hateful tone. I apologized and asked her if she could transfer my call to the front. Anyways it was a cluster don't have your packages sent there, and I now continue to have a negative opinion of Walgreens
