This pharmacy doesn't have enough staff, shuts down without warning, computer system is either slow or just not working. Staff are nice but everything else makes it worst ever pharmacy for us. Suggestions of new pharmacy to try?

Don't go to the pharmacy here it takes forever to get a prescription filled. The dentist sent over last night at 4pm and they where closed. And now they are saying I can't get my prescription till 2pm. Take almost 24hrs to get pain relief.

Whys the drive thru NEVER open and all employees of the pharmacy act like they hate their lives??? I hate that I ever changed locations to here because of how they treat people. It’s definitely not a place to go if you’re wanting to have a nice rest of your day. Every person who works there seem MISERABLE. place needs CLOSED or New Employees who actually want to work and have their Drive Thru available!!

If I could rate this 0 Stars I would. This is, without any exaggeration, the worst pharmacy I have ever used. They constantly close without warning, will tell you that your prescription is ready and when you go to pick it up inform you they have not even filled it yet, every visit they say they need my insurance information because, for whatever reason, it wasn’t saved in the system the last time I was there (which is almost once a month) and a whole slew of other problems including lazy and rude staff, long wait times, etc.

The most incompetent people in the business. Instead of going home early (6pm on saterday) stay later and fill people's prescription. These are people's lives these idiots are playing with. Blood pressure medication is nothing to play with making people wait upwards to 3 days to get it absolutely uncalled for. I'm surprised they haven't been sued yet for their incompetence.

The Pharmacy staff is rude, that is if you can actually find the Pharmacy staffed with people and open, I agree with another commenter, CVS and Walgreens are soon to be targets of lawsuits over the death of some unfortunate soul that cannot get the meds they need .... zero stars if I could....

The people seem nice but if you have really important medications it’s in your best interest not to get them filled here. The drive through has been closed for awhile and they randomly close the entire pharmacy I’m guessing due to short staff.

The employees are great. However, they cannot retain employees. This makes them dramatically understaffed. The turn around time to fill a prescription at this location is over a week. There has not been a pharmacy manager here for a good while. When I called CVS CUSTOMER SERVICE I was on hold for over 20 minutes. At that point I just hung up. Apparently you can only reach a Regional Manager by going through customer service first! After over 20 years I am done. Transferring all prescriptions to Kroger.

10/2/232 stars only because the front end of the store is nice and helpful staff. Pharmacy closes often for not having enough staff. No drive thru. They won't answer the phones. My daughter's asthma meds were supposed to be ready yesterday. They don't send out texts to inform customers when the pharmacy is closed due to being short staffed. .Today when I go to pick it up, they tell me it's not ready and they can't tell me when it will be ready. I asked to have it sent to another CVS. The pharmacist told me he did not have time to do that. This was after I stood in a very long line for about 20 minutes. We trust this company to give us the medication we need. CVS needs to do something about this location because it's horrible.

People are so mean to these poor workers. It cost zero dollars to be nice people! They just work there. Have some respect towards the employees of the establishments you go to

This CVS has serious on-going issues. They are behind, overwhelmed and offer poor service. The pharmacy floor staff try hard but frequently understaffed. I view this as a management issue, whether store or regional and there needs to some significant changes. Other CVS stores do not have the same issues.

My family has been going to the Beech Grove CVS Pharmacy for 11 years now. We only come here to get our flu shots every year and we have never had one issue with this place. We was always welcomed and treated kindly. This year was the first time in 11 years where we had a very cold reception. The woman at the counter was extremely rude and she made it very clear with a loud sigh that she was not enthused. We did not feel welcomed there at all. The scary part was she ended up being the one that gave us our flu shots. I should had said something but I just wanted to get our shots and get out of there. She was a little bit nicer toward the end. I don't know if there is a short staff issue as I know that can be stressful. There was 4 or 5 people working behind the counter (phones ringing and nobody answering either). But this was unacceptable behavior. Nobody did anything to provoke this woman's attitude. Even while we was waiting and people was coming up to the counter getting their meds, how she spoke to people was uncalled for and disgusting. The only positive thing I can say about this place is that they did made a lot of good changes. The waiting area is nice and they actually take us back to a private room again like they did a long time ago to give us our vaccines instead of doing it out in the open near the counter.

The pharmacy doesn’t fill RX on time. I’ve used them about 2 years and not being able to get my daughters medicine 3 days after we were told it would be read a couple weeks ago. It was for a severe infection, it’s not like we could wait to treat a 1 year old. Then my automatic refill wasn’t ready when it was supposed to be and had to come back four days in a row only to be told to come back everytime. I was told to come before 2 today, arrived at 1:30 and they were closed for lunch even though I could see at least 4 people behind the window. Darla specifically was extremely rude. Also, I had a 5 year old, a 1 year old, and I’m obviously pregnant and she still felt the need to be rude even though I was upset because of how they are running things. I wasn’t cursing, calling names, I was just upset that my RX had run out days ago and no help was being given. Go somewhere else!
