I was an H and R block customer for years. This year I made a morning virtual appointment with a tax pro and they didn’t show up. It wasn’t until I called that they told me they double booked, and chose to serve the other client.
At no point did they reach out to me telling me of this error. I had to call and take initiative to get an additional appointment. They scheduled me for the end of the day, did not relay any questions to my portal, and were rushed.

Decided to change my review. My tax professional was helpful when speaking to me about my taxes, I stand by that. However, there were some errors in my taxes which cost me extra money, and I'm now being ignored and unsupported with my requests for assistance. It took them a month to get to my first amendment, and it's been another month since they've ignored my request for a second one (which they knew about since day 1). They're only open 2 days a week and have no voicemail, so it's been difficult to get support. They also continue to state that my tax pro has another full time job, which is fine, but not an excuse to ignore someone. My taxes still need done regardless. I have asked to be passed along to someone who can help me, if my original tax pro cannot, but so far I've got nothing. I hope to update my review back to a positive one, but it depends how this turns out.

Excellent, professional, effective. A bit pricey if you are low income, but the pricing is fair. I recommend.

Kevin is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Especially if you have foreign income, or a complex situation, I’d highly recommend his services. He’s very thorough and will take the time to help you understand everything.

2022 - First time using Block Advisors for myself and wife. Block Advisors were very helpful and easy to communicate with. Their online form submittal process makes transferring file information extremely easy and convenient. Our taxes were completed on time and approved by the IRS in no time. Plan to return next year

Of I could give zero stars I would. I've been wit HR Block over 20 yrs. and they had my back until my gal retired. I then went to hr block advisor where I was told my gal last tax season didn't take out the preparation fees . I know that's not true as I have my tax papers from said yr. Long story short I didn't get my tax money back this yr and these people most DEFINITELY DO NOT HAVE YOUR BACK@

Was charged $400 to have my taxes done last year. Been trying to contact the office for 3 months about letters from the irs about my return saying I owe.

Useless. Went to apply for ITIN. Don't even have a basic knowledge and in addition completely gave wrong information. Waste of time.
