I am so sad to see County Gas leave. I have been with County Gas for many years. Everyone has always been super nice and helpful, price always the cheapest, and they don't haul Fertilizer! I will not buy propane from any place that also hauls Fertilizer!! Don't ever want to go through that experience again!!! BUT now that County has unfortunately sold to Premier, I'll probably be buying my propane elsewhere. Premier was supposed to be keeping prices, discounts, etc., the same as County Gas did. Found out what kind of lying crap place it is! Price immediately went up, no more summer fill price, and no more discount when you own your tank and it's hard telling what else they're going to do to make it harder for people 🤬 I definitely would NOT recommend Premier Propane!!!

We moved to Bloomington in July 2023 we was new to Propane Gas Didn't know much about it we got set up on the the budget program got our Tank filled fast like next day Great Service we had some problems getting water heater turned on they sent someone out to help us at no additional charge im very happy as a customer highly recommend

We always bring our 30-pound propane tanks from our RV to County Gas. We can drop them off in the morning and pick them up in the afternoon. Great service, nice people and competitive prices. What’s not to love?

We had to have the tank disconnected and moved, despite giving a weeks notice they said 3 weeks. We did not have 3 weeks. Then they said we had to have the gas lines reran to the furnace, finally got that done and it never worked. Great, tank is 75% filled and was originally connected to the stove but the old stove broke. Special ordered a new propane stove from Lowes who would not install it without the gas installed. County gas refused to hook up the gas without the stove installed. County gas refused to also work with the contractor and needless to say I am out $150 for a stove that needed to be returned. Then there was the argument of moving the tank closer to the source rather then run between 100 and 200 feet of copper line around the mobile home to the source where if they moved it, it literally would have been 10-20ft away. The driveway is CLOSER to the new spot then the old and they denied it. So now because they did not hook up the propane like they were suppose to and refused to work to get my stove put in (all required was both to be at the house at the same time), I did not pay the rent. I did offer to buy the tank that still sits full after 2 plus years because of the inability to use it due to their refusal of hooking it up or moving it. So now they took the regulator (as if I could use it) and threaten to take the full tank without reimbursement of the gas inside the tank. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. The people themselves are nice but their business practices are very shady.

I tried to initiate service with this company and was blown away with how disorganized and misleading they are. The woman that answered the phone was not helpful and somewhat rude.

I have always had a great experience with County Gas. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. Any time I have called I receive prompt delivery of my propane. And I have ran myself very low in the past. I recommend this company as a service provider, they care about their customers. I have been with them for a few years now and have no reason to look for any other provider.

0 stars! Staff easily frustrated to the point of yelling on the phone at a customer! Two different staff! Double the fun! One was the driver yelling at me in the background while the office manager yelled at me directly! We love it! Easily the worst customer service I've ever had! yayyyyy!Seriously use someone else for your propane. They're horrible.

If I could leave no stars I would. Our household had a terrible experience with this company today and we will never buy from them again. We were screamed at on the phone by two separate employees and told the driver will not deliver us the gas we had ALREADY PAID FOR because he didn't want to pass a dumpster on our property, even though he refused to come up the drive to even look at the driving space, and many large delivery trucks have made the drive just fine. After a long back and forth with a supervisor interrupting and yelling, she finally told us the issue was ultimately the bridge on our property, and that they don't want to drive the truck over it in "these weather conditions". They knew about both the weather and the bridge before they took our money, and the weather is the exact reason we need a propane fill. They refused to try to solve the problem, took our money knowing about the "problem", and were incredibly hostile from the start. Now we have no propane, we're going on our second day with no heat or hot water or stove, still waiting on a refund, with more bad weather coming. Absolutely awful company.

Went here to get a forty pound and a thirty pound tank filled. The forty only filled about half way so i was only charged for the thirty pound tank. Also staff were very friendly and the prices for the tank fills were less than im used to.

I wouldn't recommend them to anyone!. Crooks, that will rip you off! They won't buy back your propane if you stop with their service, no matter how full hour tank is. So even though you have paid for it, their not refunding any of your money. They just rip you off , sell it again to the next guy..double dipping crooks!
