This place reminds you why it is better to buy hardware in person and not online. The man who helped me listened to what I needed. He took me to the back and put all of the pieces together for my project and explained it as he did so. He even loaded up my car. This felt like how hardware stores used to be in the past. I real treasure!

Love this place !!!!!!!! Employees are very knowledgeable and point you right to the items you need. Places like this are a deading thing and it sucks. But Bloomington is luck to have a store like this. Wish I could give them a 20 star rating.

Friendly and their employees are always very knowledgeable of their stock and if you need assistance ,, they are there to help, from a snow shovel to drain pipes and faucets to the key making or to get that one little bag of nails for a little project, not a box of 500. This hardware store has been my family’s go-to store for several generations, and they are all about the REAL Bloomington, No big box stores, no chain stores, but a local family that opened a hardware store many years ago and continue to be all about SERVICE. Please never change
