December 2023 by Rick Harrison
On 14 December 2023, 2pm, I saw a medical practitioner in the clinic and was prescribed exactly what I needed, three different medications for a persistent and serious skin condition. She asked all the right questions, was polite and efficient. I was in and out of there with problem solved in 15 minutes. My experience at other clinics for the same recurring problem has not been nearly as good. This is what health care is supposed to be. Many thanks May God bless all there at CVS.BTW: CVS now accepts military insurance (Tricare), not everyone does.

This is a walkin clinic where you can't actually walk in! Waited 15 minutes after walking in and then being told I would have to wait for a cancelation ... 2 nurses were just standing around and talking for 15 minutes ... and they could not see a patient?

I cannot get through to this pharmacy. They will not answer their phone and I paid to have the RX delivered to campus 2 days ago. The money has been debited from my account already. This is horrible service!

I scheduled a strep test online and arrive 15 minutes early. They called me in immediately and I was gone in less than 20 minutes with my negative result. The provider was extremely kind and knowledgeable. They have a new DNA test which means you get a quick result without having to also do a culture. Very pleased!

This CVS store is located close to IU campus and it has almost everything your child will need. Many great items you think you could only get at Sam's, Costco or GNC that you can get here. Great location, good variety and great service. Alice the cashier behind the counter just made my day. I introduced Alice to my daughter who will be living on campus for a friendly connection.

Can I leave no stars- pharmacy just doesn't answer their phone. They decide that if you are calling you are less important than those in front of them. There is no excuse for hanging up on people - parents with sick kids trying to figure out if meds are ready

Never again. I had a terrible sore throat for over two weeks. Doctor here prescribed me a numbing agent instead of actual medicine. I asked her if I should take anything over the counter, she said no. Fast forward to after I leave, I take what she gave me and it still hurts. I decide to go to the store and get an over the counter medication and my sore throat is instantly gone. What a waste of time and money.. I also accidentally put the wrong card on file and I tried to tell them about it. They just completely dismissed the issue and now I am out of money on my card when insurance should of covered it. Never go here. They really don’t care for you.

I came in today (February 20, 2023) because I had an appointment for the minute clinic at the 10:40. I showed up early for my appointment and tried to sign in but it wouldn't let me so I asked one of the nurses for help and she said that her system had made an error and scheduled my appointment earlier then when I made it. I showed her my confirmation email and the physician refused to see me telling the nurse to tell me that there's other times tomorrow. This is actually absurd how are you going to refuse to see a patient that came at the correct time for her appointment. This is why people stray away from the healthcare system and refuse to see physicians/practitioners because of service like this.

CVS Pharmacy/clinic is what happens when you have a crew that is ill-prepared combined with technology they cannot manage and the inability to say NO to people. I made an appointment for a booster - set my time - jumped through all the hoops online. Was reminded of said appointment twice the day of (email and text) - I arrived 8 minutes prior and tried to check in - only to be held up on a frozen screen. I asked the nurse when she appeared if I just take a seat (there were 3 people in the waiting area) - only to be told that I was to get my vaccine booster at the Pharmacy. I walked around the corner and was confronted with (at least) a 50-person line! I asked if this was the line to get the booster and was told they were an hour behind! What the HELL was the point of all the texts and automated falderal? It's completely useless to have a technology that is in NO way useful. It's worse when the staff of the place is so ill-prepared to deal with what can only be assumed to be walk-in patients. I had an appointment at 11:45 - I went through the 30 minutes of nonsense online and made that appointment - if CVS cannot honor the time they need to use their tech to inform people that the appointment times have been compromised. This is beyond inconvenient - it's incompetence starting at the corporate level. CVS should probably be a chain of gas stations and get out of the pharmacy business. People don't need appointments to buy payday candy bars and lottery tickets.

I went here for a COVID-19 test because I had a few symptoms, and the practitioner Cerina gave me a flu test as well. I was negative for both, but she continued to give me an exam and found I had an ear infection and sinus infection. She was the best practitioner I’ve ever been to, even including at the hospital. She was extremely patient and understanding when I tried to get ahold of my guardian, and she even worked with us to do math to find out when my dad was born! I also appreciate that she recommended natural aids too, instead of just all prescription meds. I recommend this clinic to anyone and everyone who feels they need to be examined.

Went there for bandages and was asked by a manager, Alex if I needed help. He was super helpful, went out of his way to make sure I got the product I needed and even helped with price comparison. Great experience!

Arrived 15 minutes prior to close for a sick child. Was told that they were already cleaning up for the night. I asked if they could please see her, I was unable to be seen at any of the other urgent cares. Doctor said the computer was already shut down so she couldn’t help.I work in healthcare myself. I would never turn away a patient that was standing in front of me asking for help.I will never go back.
