“Great small shop in a small college town. One mechanic and a helper. Labor rate is the cheapest in Bloomington and they can work on anything. Iv Been coming here for years and they can do every job. They replaced the rear axle in my truck this summer. Ask for Rod he’s been there for more than 20 years and he can work on anything and literally the honest mechanic In town. It’s a hidden gem of an auto shop”
“I don't know them personally, but I did take a chance and ordered a motor through them online. after ordering it I realized I made a mistake and shipping wasn't included.. Reaching out to them was easy and they went above and beyond with customer service and a solution. The hold up was on my end 100%. Hard times came and time went by. It's now almost been a whole year and my motor is now on a crate headed to me. I salute these guys for holding that and being honest. Will definitely have my business recommendations and my business when I need parts. I suspect these guys repair vehicles with the same honesty. “Second time I've been and both times they have been very quick (20 mins) for an oil change and even cleaned vacuumed my car and checked other vital things. The total cost wasn't too bad either! My favorite place for an oil change by far.”
“I went to Econo Lube on either a Thursday or Friday after work, before Labor Day weekend, and my wait was surprisingly not bad! I waited approximately 30 minutes before they were able to service my car. They worked efficiently to get my new car in their system. They were very courteous and friendly! They even showed me how to reset the oil life on my car. I have been going here for oil changes for nearly 20 years and will continue to! Plus they have a great rewards program through Meineke!”
“Felt the need to write a review. I bought my tires online and scheduled online for Bloomington Walmart. Was I a bit scared and skeptical considering it's WALMART? Yes I was. I do all my own repairs mostly on my car because I don't trust shops anymore. But tires are a pain in the butt and I don't have a balance machine. I took my car to Bloomington's auto care for 4 all new tires and to my surprise they were done in about 45 minutes. You hear horror stories about overtightened lug nuts etc etc. The tires felt balanced when I drove, the tires were all inflated to the proper PSI and the lug nuts were torqued to the correct spec. All very surprising, and I get a lifetime balance/rotation. You really can't ask for more than this.”
