Cat Cafe. There should be a Cat Cafe. I'm glad cats are there for adoption, but they look like an orca with their dorsal fin collapsed. So much space and no Cat Cafe. PetSmart lead by example and make this happen. The dog training area is an example of the available room. Make this happen! Be the difference!

glad they're improving the quality of their fish and stuff, but still dirty animal abusers. sold me a common pleco as a "bristlenose." god knows how many people they've screwed over with that mistake.

I went in today for guinea pig food, stopped by the betta fish, and 3 were dead at the bottom of their containers. Do better. The abuse of these poor animals is ridiculous; y'all should be treating them better.

I've been in the store one time. I have a great experience. I got to take my brand new pet in there with no issues while shopping for supplies and toys. I don't feel comfortable reading it fully off of one visit, but if I go back and continue to receive great service and experience, I will upgrade it to five stars.

employees are nice but they never have what you need in stock, even if it says online that they do! i’ve went there 3 separate times for different things and each time i ended up having to make the trip across town to pet co. save yourself the trip and just go to pet co downtown.

Just spent a hundred dollars on a light and they wanted to charge me for a bag to put it in…. The light I could probably have gotten somewhere else a lot more affordable :/

UPDATE. Lemme tell ya… this is how “Karens” got their reputation. I go into PetSmart almost everyday I’m not joking. Their bettas and other fish are usually in such poor shape , I like to try to save them since I’m fully equipped with proper medicine at home, with hospital tanks.PetSmart isn’t allowed to carry the medicine I have. PetSmart is under “new” management but Karen has been there for awhile. She’s the store manager, God help us. This woman not only acts like she absolutely hates her job and hates being there , she’s never nice and never have I ever seen her smile at customers. Again I’m in there almost everyday. I’ve spent thousands of dollars at this store , new aquariums, supplies, fish, dog stuff… etc. I bought a fantail goldfish. I keep lots of gold fish , so I’m aware of what they need and that they need a lot of room. I did a medicine dip and I put her in my 20 long until she was big enough to be moved. Well she didn’t last but maybe 4 days? She must’ve been sick and I didn’t notice . I took a picture of her poor gutted body and I buried her, just like I always do with any of the sick fish. I brought in a water sample , had the picture and my receipt. I’ve never EVER had this issue like I experienced with good old KAREN. Good grief not only did this woman make me cry when I left ( I’m NOT a crier) but she refused to give me the return which had been way under the days of their return policy. She demanded she had the body of my pet, which I’ve NEVER HAD TO DO. What disgusting person insinuates that I’m not only lying , but that I’m some kind of murderer? She was so extremely rude , I’m still in shock. I’ve never had an employee anywhere make me feel so bad about myself FOR DOING NOTHING WRONG. This woman doesn’t even have fish. I have 8 aquariums and 4 stock tanks , I’ve been keeping fish for years and advanced my knowledge and skills over the last year. I know what I’m doing. The beginning of the year I attempted to raise guppies and the fish I kept getting were just so inbred and diseased that they kept killing any other fish I had tried to keep with them. I now know it was the guppies and will most likely never buy them again. Even in this last week dealing with Karen ,petsmarts guppy tank was filled with dead guppies. So many of their tanks are going through an algae bloom too. They lost 3 amazing and very knowledgeable employees and you can tell because the tanks look AWFUL. Those 3 knew so much about fish and were always so kind and understanding BECAUSE THEY HAVE OR HAD KEPT FISH. Not Karen. She not only seems to know absolutely nothing about fish but she’s just down right mean. And one of the craziest things about that day with my $5 dead goldfish , a man came in and he supposedly had two geckos die and didn’t have their bodies because his dog ate them, he voluntarily gave that information, not one time did she ask for the dead gecko. I was standing right there and listened to the whole conversation not only was that man granted his return or exchange, but he was given no problems like Karen gave to me for my five dollar goldfish. This was personal. I don’t know if she’s jealous that I’m able to have so many fish and she can’t , or if it’s just that she hates her job so much that she just cannot be nice to anyone, whatever the reason , she chose to attack me that day. That day were they obviously shortstaffed and the line was all the way to the back , Karen left her one employee ALONE to ring customers up. I’ll never ever go into her line again . But now God knows how many betas will die in those cups because she won’t let people adopt out the sick ones. Even though PetSmart is not equipped to properly medicate fish. I was saving the bettas lives. I did do that with the help of the previous amazing staff that PetSmart lost. But not Karen ,she is so heartless, rude, down right judgmental, disrespectful, and discriminative towards people who are consistent customers. Please get someone else in there that actually enjoys their job or at least pretends too, she makes me never want to go back.

I'm sure it's great if you have an exotic or purebred animal, or disposable income - products are good, animal selection varies but good, customer service is good - they're just way too expensive. Get the same stuff online or nearly anywhere else for less.

Takes 20-30 minutes to get crickets as you have to sit there waiting for an employee to never show up, or get in line to check out to let them know you have been waiting. Whoever thought it was a good idea to take away the button for assistance has lost their mind. If it’s going off too often, that means you have a staffing problem. The solution shouldn’t be to take it away

My canine companion, a doodle, received grooming services at the aforementioned establishment. Beforehand, I engaged in a detailed conversation with the individual responsible for the grooming, who assured me of their familiarity with doodles and their specific hair type. Regrettably, the outcome of the grooming session was not satisfactory. Not only was the haircut poorly executed, but my dog, a small and gentle creature weighing eight pounds, sustained an injury to his ear during the process.
