Bad service they didn’t pick up my trash when I called to tell them to come back they never did!

Expect to wait an hour when calling their help line then getting dropped when they finally pick up. Then if you try and use their live bot for chat, it “left the chat” when it was time for me to connect with an agent. I ended my services with them and had a balance of $35. I paid it. Then the follow month a random $66 bill, can’t get a hold of anyone to dispute- which is what they want…

I would give them negative if I could, been auto-paying them for over 10 years, just noticed I’m paying $80 a month, and for the same service Ava is charging 80 per quarter, and when you try to cancel the service, nobody answers the phone.

I originally used JB disposal before republic bought them out. Ever since then it’s been price hike after hike. It’s up to $94 now. I canceled and they are charging $33 to come pickup their trash can?? What a scam. I am going with Ava’s waste removal for $60 quarterly.

Your phone service is super bad. Can’t even get through to a person to ask a question.

We recently rented a dumpster from K&S Rolloff and were billed for 2.69 tons of waste based on a weight ticket from Hoosier Transfer Station. Given that our dumpster contained mostly cardboard, this weight seemed excessive. When we contacted Hoosier Transfer Station on December 20th, 2024, a person who called himself Connor reviewed the ticket and admitted there was a system glitch. He stated that we should have been charged for at most 1.9 tons (which still seems excessive), and he promised that his manager would follow up—but no one ever did.
Almost two months later, K&S Rolloff reached out to Hoosier Transfer Station for confirmation and was told that no employee named Connor worked there and billed us finance charge, which is even more absurd. When we tried calling back at (812) 652-2416, our calls went unanswered, and there was no option to leave a voicemail.
This experience raises serious concerns about the accuracy of Hoosier Transfer Station’s billing practices. If errors occur, they should be corrected, yet we found them unresponsive and unwilling to address the issue. If you use their services, double-check your weight tickets and charges carefully to avoid potential overbilling.

Beyond the multiple unannounced rate hikes and changes in billing periods, somehow they created two accounts for our one address with only one set of cans My wife's account was in arrears and they reclaimed their cans without warning, but mine had a +$200 overpayment. Whoever my wife talked to said the account was in my name and would not talk to her about it. We closed both accounts, payed off what was owed on one and asked for a refund check on the other. It is a good thing the recycling center is close. I don't need these clowns.

Don’t even have service with these idiots and I’m getting terrible service. Every time they come to get my neighbor’s recycling they drive through my yard to get to it, now I gotta get my lawyer involved.

DO NOT USE REPUBLIC!!! Literally ANY waste management service is a better choice, you will regret it otherwise. As a loyal customer of over 20 years the fees have grown to a completely ridiculous level and the customer service is abysmal. They will make it almost impossible to cancel your service once you realize this. DON’T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU! I wish I could give them zero stars.

This company is garbage. They unexpectedly raise rates without notifying you. Then, when you call to cancel, they tell you that you will be charged a fee for them to come out and pick up your trash container just because you are canceling. Be careful when you go to dump site to dump your trash. There are nails/screws all over the parking lot and they seldom get them up. They do NOT pay for tires or tire repair and basically tell you that you are out of luck. Check the area thoroughly before backing into dumping area.

Very rude operator of large equiptment. Wasn't sure the procedure and backed into stall to unload. He started yelling and screaming at me to get out of the bay area. This was my first time here and entered in the wrong area heading the wrong direction (signs were confusing as to which way I was suppose to go). Had several people behind me and didn't want to hold up traffic to read the book of a sign to know what to do. Lady at the weight scale was nice and I am sure had seen "lost" people before. Will never return here again due to the operator yelling and screaming at me trying to make me feel incompetent.
