I take my kids here often as the playground is super neat. They've got a wonderful splash pad in summer, it's dog friendly, has picnic areas, pickleball, basketball, a biking and hiking paved trail, it has an outdoor workout area, a space w several raised beds for community gardening, too much to remember honestly but so worth the day tripPlayground: Absolutely awesome little playground w all kinds of neat activities for kids and parents. Very unique and creative.Dog-friendliness: Completely dog friendly, lots of open space, paved jogging trail for walking them and plenty grassy areas for them to sniff lol

All-in-All a pretty exciting place for kids to run and play. But, just a word of advice. If you are going to throw a birthday party in the shelter houses, I would not worry about spend large amounts on decorations. Because, they probably won't last, and good chance they won't stay hanging for more 10-15 min.. Just some friendly advice.Playground: Pretty large playground area.Restrooms: Has a fairly large public restroom building, with all rooms being gender neutral.Dog-friendliness: Lots of space for your dogs/pets to roam, run, and play.

This park is absolutely wonderful. It's expansive, with so many different inclusive and sensory-friendly recreation areas. I love the skatepark and the splash pad. The stage with its free concerts is a total vibe. The dog park, in my opinion, is second to none. So much space and a really wonderful set up. My favorite thing is being able to take the trail all the way from my home down in Clear Creek to downtown and beyond. I can't say enough nice things about Switchyard Park!

We had a great time at Switchyard Park today. We used the indoor pavilion as part of a community Makers event. The facilities were great, and plenty of parkingRestrooms: The pavilion restrooms had a first for me. Soap, water and hand dryer were side by side at the sink. Brilliant layout.

Beautiful park. My kids like the play areas , including the open grassy areas for fun and sporty things and looking at the water. They love the skating area. I enjoy the exercise machines and the B-Line and we all enjoy the stage area and the swinging benches.

Great place if you don’t mind adult squatters with no children hanging around the families. Smoking, sleeping, apparently taking up residence. Park employees throughout but nothing being done or said to discourage or remove them from the park or at the very least from around the families using the facility for what it is. I understand it’s a public place and I appreciate a great place for the kids to play, but the creep factor really takes away from fully enjoying time with my kids.

Beautiful place to run, walk, bike, and let the kids play in an all-inclusive playground and splash pad. Patrolled regularly, this place seems to be very safe and it is exceptionally clean. Highly recommend to check out if you're in the area.Playground: All inclusive for people of all abilities including developmental differences.Restrooms: Exceptionally clean, neutral gender.Dog-friendliness: Nice dog park

There are a lot of amazing benefits to this area, we love the splash pad, the b line and the skate park. The work out area and think this park has do much to offer. Also appreciate how clean it is kept a d the bathroom facilities.Unfortunately, what truly dampens the experience for my family is how many blind spots there are where kids can disappear and not be seen on playground equipment, and also how dangerous the slides are. They cause abrasions, and are way too fast sliding on abrasive limestone. I have seen many children get hurt on the slides, my children have gotten hurt in the past and also torn clothing due to the abrasiveness, and causes minor burns.Aside from these safety concerns it's a great place.

This park is in theory great and we love food truck Friday's. Having said that it attracts sketchy individuals and I don't always feel safe. Unisex bathrooms are pretty much inexcusable when thinking about mothers and babies intermingling with the current inhabitants of this park. Risky pretty much sums it up.

I used to bike the b line while visiting friends that lived in town. I've been away for a couple years and decided to bike it again only to find this. I was blown away. This park is amazing and has something for everyone. I absolutely love it! Excellent job Bloomington! I wish every community had something like this.

Went to Switchyard Park and wow it is nice! It has very modern buildings and the overall layout and design are both fantastic! I was reading about how the site was once home to the largest RCA television plant in the world. It has been complelely repurposed for this park. It's an amazing transformation and and a great model for other municipalities to follow. We will be back soon!

Since the renovation switchyard park has become my go to park. They've got a pretty good playground, dog park, plenty of seating, restrooms, and the B-Line trail runs right through the middle of it. Not to mention the occasional event that happens.

A fantastic place to spend a free afternoon! The public bathrooms are closed right now, and make sure you bring your own water for the doggos. My kiddo loves the playground. Some of the concrete seats are placed a bit too close to the bottom of the climbing hills IMO.
