This place has TEN dock doors, but only use THREE for live unloading. The other 7 are for drop trailers!
And YET THEY SCHEDULE FOUR APPOINTMENTS AT A TIME, in 2 hour blocks. I had a 1030am appointment. I arrived at 1020am. I was told there is (one) 1030am appointment ahead of me, and they are JUST FINISHING THE 830am appointments now.
I was told the load ahead of me will take approximately 3 hours to unload and count, before I’m back in to a dock.
I was told my load is a “relatively quick unload” but they go in order of arrival.
I asked about the point of scheduling me for 1030, FIRM if only bringing jn 1 truck at a time?
He told me they schedule 4 trucks for an appointment time and go in order.
It still makes ZERO sense, not to mention the fact that since I’ve been here, I only see them actively using 2 docks, 7 have drop trailers sitting there, and 1 I haven’t seen in use.
There is Capstone signage up all over the place, so that’s why. I got fooled, after saying NO MORE KROEGER LOADS due to Capstone’s shady business practices and Kroeger’s archaic and asinine policies.
I get paid to TRANSPORT THE GOODS, not sit here for ENDLESS HOURS while you count it—
The shipper loaded it,
The shipper sealed it,
I arrived ahead of my appointment time,
The seal is in tact.
IF THERES A DISCREPANCY, CONTACT THE SHIPPER! DONT HOLD ME UP AND TAKE FOOD OUT OF MY DAUGHTERS MOUTH BECAUSE I DONT MATTER TO YOU!
Plus you have to be escorted to the bathroom, there’s barely any Verizon coverage here (my Tmobile was sufficient though.)
All in all, places like this should be FINED AND SHUT DOWN, and personally, I will never take another load here or any Kroeger facility. The more we put up with this GARBAGE, UNPAID LABOR the more places that will do it to us.
So I’m sitting here for FREE FOR FOUR+ HOURS, on top of having to pay HUNDREDS to capstone to even get unloaded in the first place, plus my fuel to get here, plus my money for the tolls, plus the wear and tear on my truck, the maintenance, my insurance, my time away from my family, the risk being on the road.
And I’m supposed to be GRATEFUL FOR THIS LOAD?? Sure!! It took them 20 minutes to load me!!! An hour is reasonable to unload. BUT FOUR+ HOURS?
You can **** off.

Got delivered to this location, so it was very easy. Polite people and professional. Even got overnight stay. Thank you for such a good service.

Why douse it take so long to unload???? That’s crazy, i can start list of what I did while they where unloading me: -prepare dinner, eat dinner, watch movie, take a nap, read book, than take a nap again, bro….
It’s something….it seems like they are unloading not with forklift but taking out each box by hand, I’m shocked….

Bunch of snowflakes.
They do not respect drivers time at all
After shipper hold me for hours I couldn’t make it for my apt. I even called them to let them know I’m running late ,however my load been refused by Josh.
Make sure you are on time or refuse any load going here!

11/9/23-Arrived on time for 1930 appointment, called for door at 2030, empty at 2300
11/22/24- arrived at 2300 for next morning appointment on Saturday, in door at 0944 for 1030 appointment, unloaded with bills by 1200

Terrible place to deliver. They don't appreciate our effort to get there earlier. No bathroom nor sign for receiving directions. Plus they want to count the load before they let you go while the shipper sealed it and the seal is unbroken. Wth?

They're going to take time unloading. My company knows this and they schedule my next load accordingly. You'd do well to understand your dispatch/broker sees $$$$ and is less concerned about your clock. That's not on the warehouse you're docked at.
Very courteous lady checked me in at 5p for my 10p appt. Got a call around 8p to give me a door. Got another call just before 10p "you're unloaded and we're processing your BOLs, please back into the staging area and we'll call you when bills are ready".
I asked about no parking. She said because sometimes they need all available spots for staging. Tonight didn't seem busy so I could stay where I was but someone might knock on my door to tell me I need to leave. That's understandable; warehouses are under no obligation to provide overnight parking, especially when people are slobs and litter all over their property.
Overall, I know I'm usually at a dock for at least 4 hours, because again, the people who assign me the loads are responsible for communicating the amount of time required at the dock door. Seems those people only care about their $$$ and not your time as a driver. Not on the warehouse.

Yes, fast unload but takes long time for paperwork, however 2nd shift very friendly people, from the girl running the show to capstone people, great team, keep up the good work guys, thnx

9/20/24. Appointment was at 1700. Checked in at 1617. Went in to see how things were going at 2000 to see if they forgot about me which I was told they didn't. They had a lot of 1700 appointments. Was finally docked at 2021, but not completely unloaded and done until 2230. Out of the 10 docks here, they were only seem to be receiving at dock 4 & 7.
