Arbuckle Acres Park is the oldest park in Brownsburg, covering 52 acres with beautiful mature shade trees. The park features a variety of amenities, including a baseball complex, lighted basketball and tennis courts, and 1.3 miles of paved trails that are fun and big, with some steep sections that are easily bypassed. There are several shelters near White Lick Creek, picnic tables, and plenty of open space for recreational activities and organized events. I love hiking the trails of this park with my dog. The trails are super shady, with lots of trees so it is not super hot while walking. There are baseball fields, a creek, basketball courts, and a playground all close by.
