I had to wait approximately 10 minutes for a rep to become available. They provided good service and were knowledgeable, but they’re always trying to upsell you on their services. I understand that’s how they are compensated and measured for performance, but getting a sales pitch every time you visit isn’t ideal.

I have been a loyal customer for decades and always enjoy the customer service offered at the Carmel location. However, there have now been two instances where a sales man by the name of Stephen has been rude and disrespectful. Upon returning my old device, I was told to come back to the store and they would provide directions on how to erase my data. Stephen proceeded to tell me they cannot do this nor had any instructions on how to do this despite the instructions being printed out behind him and another sales man already assisting me with this!! The other time I encountered him, he continued to berate me for not understanding something he was saying about my options. He should not be interacting with customers. Advice: avoid Stephen at all costs.

This store was a poor excuse for customer service. They had their mind made up before we walked in that they couldn't help us. I purchased a phone online and was told by 611 AND another ATT store that I needed to go to this corporate store. This store badmouthed the whole company by saying that they 611 and the other "retail" store lied and that he couldn't help us. He never looked up our account. He didn't ask my name. He was ready to go home for the night. I have 7 lines on my att account and have been a customer of att for decades. If you don't want to be in customer service then find another job because you are horrible at this position.

I’ve been a customer of att at this location for many years and always have wonderful customer service. Unfortunately, today my daughter and I needed help transferring her att number to new phone and Steve talked to us like we were idiots. He was very cold, short, and acted like we were an inconvenience. I hope management will train him better on how to help customers.

We came to this location after working with a different location and realizing the Carmel location had iPhones in stock. We said we’d like to trade in my current phone for an iPhone 16 pro max. Without confirming prices, Steven had us completely clear all data on my phone. He said it may take a hour to which I suggested we leave and come back. Steven responded with this by stating “I’m not going to babysit your phone.” When he quoted us, it was higher than the previous store we went to. When we questioned the pricing, Steven was very rude and insisted we were wrong and that we did not know what we were talking about. We ended up leaving and going back to the previous ATT store we were at where we were able to get my phone reactivated and received the previous quoted deal from before. Needless to say, Steven was one of the rudest, most disrespectful individuals I have encountered in a business centered around helping others with phones/services. If you arrive at the Carmel location, I would highly suggest you ask to work with anyone but Steven.

We have been customers of ATT for well over ten years, and have in the past received very good service. This year, however, was different. We bought two new i Phones this week, and on two separate occasions we went back to the store to ask questions. Each time the staff was rude and short with us, and made it obvious that they did not want us to bother them.
To get my questions answered I ended up calling 611. A young man named Justin took great care of us and answered all of our questions with a great attitude and also helped us upgrade our account and add a new line. It’s too bad that our experience in the store was not good.

Most incompetent staff. I was sent between store and the call center 3 times only to receive zero help. Do not enter into any agreement. They will not be helpful. Incompetence seems to be a consistent thread. Despicable company policy

Husband went there to get a new phone at the Carmel location and the person who he came across told him he doesn’t have enough time to help him even though he showed up around 7:15pm. This guy literally had 45 minutes before the store closes and he refused to help. Since when has this store started hiring such incompetent people ? We have always had a good experience and me and the rest of the family are eligible for an upgrade but clearly won’t be going to this place and will happily drive out of our way to a store that has professional people who are willing to help. Very disappointed that this is the type of people AT&T hires at the Carmel location.

My wife and I were in there yesterday to separate phone lines. The only thing we asked for was to separate our phone lines. Everything else needed to stay the same we were asked multiple times if that’s all we wanted to do and our response was yes I get home to find out that the person that switched our lines has added additional, paid features onto our account without our permission. They get paid when they add additional features and someone there must be so broke that they need a couple of dollars more than they need to be honest to the people walking in the door.

Stephen was very great with us. He made sure to make us feel welcomed, he made sure he answered all our questions, he made sure to interact with our 5 year old. He was great. He is the reason why we will go back to this location always.
