Beautiful City

An eyesore of architectural gimmickry. The hodge-podge of psuedo-european styles slapped on to the face of an otherwise hulking mass that makes no attempt to respect it's context are poorly executed and give off a heavily manufactured vibe like Main Street USA at Disneyland. Whoever designed this should have their Architect's License revoked.

I will start with the pros. - I appreciate the density. - I appreciate that there is a unified architectural design. I love that it is American colonial. - I appreciate that this is all designed around walking. - good urbanism practices Cons - It is sterile and lacks any of the charms of an actual city. - it is a city for rice people. Every shop is high-end, which makes it a one-note area. If there were more artistic shops, that would add a lot of life. -Everything is based around a car. Where is the public transit? -there is not much to do during off-hours. Overall this place will be excellent in 20 years, but right now, it lacks any of the charms of life of an actual city. It is, however, still better than most sprawling suburbs.

Only their second night open and it was flawless in terms of service, presentation and flavor. Gwen, as the entire wait staff, was attentive band caring. I'll be back soon and I'm bringing friends!

Hanging out every week waiting for our table at Fork + Ale a family of 5 can sit and enjoy the surroundings with family fun with kids, young adults and friendly furry animals. Watching the people enjoy playing pool, table tennis

(Translated by Google) Farewell to Carmel City on a foggy afternoon ... A lovely little city, bright green foliage from street corner to porch ... a city with lots of small walking paths. The shops are beautifully displayed & the art ... that visitors who go through must stop looking and do not take heart to walk ... A city for those who prefer quiet, ancient & romantic !;)
