The Best Vet in town! Ive been taking my dog and cat there since they were young and the Staff (Beth and Staff at the front counter) are always helpful and get me in quick if one of our animals is sick. Dr Carter explains thoroughly what to do and help my pets health, especially the glucosomine gummies. My dog has some minor hip problems and with the gummies it has made him more comfortable and playful! So grateful for this!

Dr. Carter should be called “The Cat Whisperer “. Our little Tommy —who sort of resembles a dog more than a cat in a good way—had dental problems and excessive grooming issues that this genius and beloved Vet remedied. He gave us our Tommy back better than ever. Happy New Year Dr. Carter! ❤️

Great Vet clinic! Dr. Carter is incredibly knowledgeable and helped get my dogs allergies under control for the first time in 9 years. Dr. Carter takes the time to explain what is going on in ways you can understand it and is transparent when it comes to pricing and what makes the most sense for your pets treatment.

I'm on my second dog after moving to Indiana. My German Shepherd passed at 13 and he takes care of my one year old Aussie. I Love his caring and straight forward opinion!

We have taken our pets to Dr Carter for over 30 years, he and his staff are amazing! We moved an hour away 7 years ago, but still take our furbabies there because we trust them. ❤️

We have taken our large breed dogs here for 5+ years and I couldn’t be happier. Dr. Carter is extremely knowledgeable and cares about making sure as owners we understand what is going on with our dogs and how to make informed decisions. He goes above and beyond in making sure all of our questions are answered and caring for our boys. For example my mastiff gets benign tumors in his skin and one grew on his tale that bothered him and my dog chewed through it. He got him in for a tail amputation right away and changed his bandage for months in between other appointments (at no cost to us) to make sure it healed correctly. I could not be more grateful for Dr. Carter and staff! Bonus points my dogs love him and love going to this facility.

It took me a while to want to write this but it needs to be out there. I’m not sure if overworked; or if they don’t care as much for cats. I had two cats both in my opinion were neglected in care. My oldest cat I always took there, but she had a seizure and I knew something more was wrong. He took one look at her and just said she’s old. Took her to another vet and they found 3 teeth that need extracted. That’s not the bad part, but just goes to show he overlooked both of my cats issues to get them out the door. I then made the mistake of taking my other cat here when she was no longer eating or drinking, and had a cough that was ongoing. I was told “she’s fine, she’s clearly eating she’s fat. “ no tests, nothing. Took her back again two days later because she was not eating at all, he then ran tests. (Should have the first time) She had kidney disease but not failure, they gave meds and fluids and sent me home with fluids. The very next day, 5 minutes after administering what I believe now was far too much fluid for her condition but per the vets orders she had a clot; and she died very traumatically. My cat most likely would have died regardless of how bad the vet visit was, but to he shrugged off with zero testing with very clear warning signs; and then your cat dying 4 days after that first visit… not something you forget. Advocate for your fur babies, and I would not suggest to take your cats here.

We have been taking our two small dogs to Dr. Carter for about 2 years now and are well satisfied. Originally it was for dental cleaning, which turned out so much better than our experience with our prior vet. He's very good with our older dog, and is careful to explain everything in detail, plus thoroughly answer all questions. Office is always clean and staff is very friendly. He is quite a long way from us, but well worth the hour and a half, minimum, round trip. One thing: be sure your GPS is in good shape, and avoid work traffic hours if at all possible! Highly recommend.

There is no place I’d rather take my girls! The staff is always kind and knowledgeable and they do great work at a reasonable price. I just had two greyhounds in for dentals and they came home well and quite happy and with three years taken off their smiles! Their communication and service is better than any other vet we have used. If you have greyhounds you must try Doctor Carter!

Dr Carter is knowledgeable and very caring. We take our cat to Dr Carter. Dr Carter offers modern services such as laser declawing and antibiotic shots that last for 2 weeks instead of fussing with pills or liquids. Much less stress for our cat
