I went into CVS MinuteClinic because the website said walk-ins are welcome. I get there at 1:20pm but they are at lunch. I sign in at the kiosk. It gives me an option to pick 3pm or waitlist. I picked waitlist in hopes to get in sooner. Employee comes in at 2 and says I am on the waitlist and all appointments are taken for that day and they don’t have any openings. I will not be seen. False advertising! Walk-ins are not welcome.

DON’T DO IT! Try Kroger pharmacy or anywhere else! 1 drive thru line-the drop off window has been broken for years. The remaining drive thru is usually closed because this store is understaffed. Stay away!Very common to see 10+ people standing in line.We switched to walmart and are much better off.

The ONLY reason I use this pharmacy is because it’s 24 hours. They are always late, always claim they’re understaffed, and always want me to leave and comeback. There is no reason in the world it should take 8 hours to pour meds into a cup. They don’t ever answer the phone either, you just hear it announce about 4 calls waiting over and over if you’re waiting in line. They ignore it. Then, the pharmacist had the audacity to ask me, “do you need this today?”No. I just drove here because I love the ambience of CVS in the evening— since it was called in about noon. Now it’s 8:15pm. Yes I’d like it today. “Well, you can try back in about 30 minutes, but I can’t guarantee it’ll be ready. I’m the only one here and it depends on how busy we are.” After she just told the lady in the next booth, “Oh, that’s not ready but just wait here and I’ll get that prepared for you.”Unreal. DONT SEND YOUR SCRIPTS HERE. They might be open 24 hours, but it’ll take you 48 hours probably to get your prescription prepared. It’s beyond incompetent.

Not staffed to handle the volume of prescriptions due to being the only 24hr pharmacy in the area. My advice is to just use your usual pharmacy unless you absolutely can't wait until tomorrow and are prepared to hang out at CVS for a good while.

Not sure what happened to this CVS, but it went from being reliable and efficient to the unbearably long lines. There is always a line 7-8 people deep and a total lack of urgency or efficiency behind the counter. Everybody is friendly, but it is hard to be friendly back with a 45 minute wait. So disappointing, a store this busy needs to be properly staffed.

I know these reviews mean nothing to big retailers but I would leave 0 stars. The way CVS grossly understaffs their pharmacy is criminal. I feel for the few staffers that actually show up.

If I could give this CVS zero stars I would. I was on the phone to fill a script and the technician needed me to call another CVS to put a Hold on my daughter’s script. She would not do this for me but required that I hang up, call the other CVS and call back in. I did so and waited forty minutes on the line. When she answered again I was on mute and in the 2 seconds it took to get off mute she hung up on me. Worst customer service I have ever had. Cannot encourage you enough not to use this CVS.

Pharmacist Kari was very rude and I called pharmacy after visiting urgent care on 10/13/23 and was told my prescription would be ready at 9:30 sometime that night and I was not able to pick up so came at 9-9:20pm on 10/14/23 to pick up after a 14 hours day at work. I was told that they were three days behind and my medication has not been started on. I mentioned I called last night after leaving urgent care and was told 9:30. I usually go to iu north pharmacy and they are very kind and compassionate but the seriousness of the medication is why I chose a 24 hour cvs and urgent care visit. I understand can be delays but I asked I didn’t receive any contact or update through my cvs. I was told well I don’t have the time to stand here and call each and every person so either I can stand here and argue with you or I can handle the customer at the window. I asked why are you being so rude I’m just confused and asking a question and spent a long day coming and this was something I needed last night but I’m coming a whole day and evening later. She said well okay I can’t help that you didn’t talk to real people and left me at the counter. Where is the compassion and kindness? Some people are already going through enough and now have to be treated so poorly by a pharmacist handling my medication?? I called urgent care and had them transfer to Walgreens. I was also given dirty looks and sharp tone. I’m so disappointed.

Sharing a very honest review. This pharmacy is the most pathetic, worst pharmacy in the entire US, never able to be ready with prescription medicines on time and not just delay for few mins, but by more than 8 hours. Strongly recommend not to send any prescription medicines here. Only giving one star since the minute clinic staffs are thorough professionsals and never had any issues with them. Right across the road is Walgreens which has a much better customer service

If I could give zero stars I would. Don’t bother making an appointment for the minute clinic. I recently moved to the area and had to schedule a Telehealth appointment. The NP recommended I make an in person appointment as a follow up to verify the respiratory issues I was experiencing was just my asthma and not progressing into something worse-like pneumonia. I made an appointment and rushed over after work. The individual working at the minute clinic demanded I wear a face mask. I explained that face masks trigger me to have an asthma attack-I’ve almost had to be hospitalized in the past for wearing one. The worker immediately got an attitude and asked me why I even bothered coming in then. I explained that cvs Telehealth minute clinic wanted me to come in to verify i wasn’t developing pneumonia. Worker took my id and health insurance. I then heard her call someone on the phone to complain about me not wearing a mask -which was due to a legitimate medical reason which is recognized by the ADA. A minute later she walked in and refused to see me as my health insurance was “out of network”. Wouldn’t even give me the option of paying out of pocket or allow me to call the insurance company to verify they would cover the visit. If you want medical treatment that doesn’t care about your well-being this is the place for you.

If you need to call the pharmacy, don't bother. Just go in person. If you're sick and can't go in, you may wanna plan to have a charger around and to be on hold for at least 45 minutes to an hour. It's a huge pain trying to get a pharmacist on the phone.Otherwise, I've never had an issue here. Yeah they've sometimes got long lines, but they're in a highly populated area, so it is what it is.

Have used this CVS for 6 months without issue. But in the last month or so there have been MULTIPLE times they have been "backordered" aka out of stock of prescribed medications. Very stressful to have a prescription sent in only to find out at the last minute that it cannot be filled on time. Sorry, will be switching.
