Normally, my customer experience at this store has been great, except today.I tried to purchase a jacket and the only one they had on my size was on the front display. The sales associate lady told me that they could not take it from display which I found absurd….she did not even attempt to suggest me other solutions

This store’s customer service is terrible. As the last reviewer said, Tammy, the manager IS curt, abrupt, impatient- she also made me want to leave ASAP and not come back! Do better EB!

This store can either be a great experience or terrible, depending on the sales associate. Jake the manager is a pleasant guy. Tammy is the opposite. Loud, curt, abrupt, impatient- she made us want to leave ASAP and not come back. She’s been like this for a long time. Eddie Bauer- do better.

really poor experience here today. I brought a shirt back I've never worn, only washed once. It had marks from where the tag had dug into fabric I didn't notice until I got home. I figured it'd probably wash out and if not, no big deal exchanging.Wrong. I brought it back today and the store manager refused to exchange or return. Her only solution was "You can buy one and ship it here"I've bought no less than 45 shirts/fleece/pants/shorts there in the last two years. I've been very loyal to our local store instead of buying online though it's easier.I had to get ahold of corporate for them to make it right. I did get additional credit for dealing with poor customer service at my local store.I now have to ship it back to corporate and they'll replace it in the next month or so because of "fedex issue"I have enough shirts I don't need it, I probably won't bother shipping it back.I will however not spend another dime at this location. Highly disappointed with a brand I love.I'll order online and wait for future purchase. Quality is unbeatable. The staff on the other hand needs some serious training or replacement.funny seeing all the recent reviews aren't about quality. It's about awful staff. I hope corporate can see this and solves an issue.

This location's manager, Cameron, is extremely rude. I had a few returns and she treated me like I was trying to get away with something and inspected the items down to the seams even though they were CLEARLY NOT worn or used. Avoid this location!

The staff here is not very friendly. I find Tammy to be quite rude every time I’m in there, and she yells when she talks. I think she could be friendlier and more customer service oriented when helping with a problem.I had a manufacturing issue and she seemed defensive about it and gave a lot of excuses. The issue was not her fault, but i felt she could have apologized for the level of quality we received on behalf of the company.

I purchased a long sleeve shirt 11/27/2022. It’s been washed 3 times since then (today is 01/21/2023). The stitching at the cuff of each sleeve is already falling apart. I attempted to exchange it today and they would not stand behind their product. They stated it has to have the tags still on, cannot have been washed and cannot be considered normal wear and tear. They clearly do not stand behind their quality, which is subpar.It’s not normal wear and tear for stitching to be coming apart after 3 washes.I understand they are simply following company rules, but the lady who informed me had no empathy or compassion in relating the information.Not only will I no longer purchase from this location, but I will not purchase from Eddie Bauer either.

Nice product, horrible business. Bought online and sizes were off so returned in store. Still waiting for refund to process on credit card 2 days later. Unacceptable and online chat and phone customer service are all clueless

Extremely bad customer service. The sales associates are rude, arrogant, helpless. Lots of people have complained about that before. Last time my friends and me we heard they were mocking and laughing loudly about the foreign European accent of a male customer. The way how they talked and behaved were totally unacceptable! Never go back to that store and shopping on line only!

Rating this store in particular and not the clothing product itself. The assistant manager here acts helpless and unwilling to uphold the longstanding Eddie Bauer return policy. When I asked her to contact the manager, she stayed it was his day off and she wouldn't bother with it. She stated the return policy in opposition to what I pulled up on the Eddie Bauer website, though having her see it she still defied the policy, as though it was her personal agenda and not that of the company. She was not at all pleasant to deal with and borderline defiant.She did not offer up a single solution other than me driving back (80 miles round trip) to deal with the real manager another day.I had to take the initiative to call the corporate number to Eddie Bauer. It took all of 20 seconds to clear up the issue. The representative on the phone was shocked that the in-store assistant manager would not take the items for return, that clearly met the policy. On that brief phone call they were happy to take all three items back in return in exchange for a full refund, they sent me the return labels in email and it was a very simple exchange process.The sad part is that I, the customer, must do all the work. The helpless assistant manager couldn't even make a single recommendation to help me with my issue. She was happy to just let me throw the clothes in the trash and walk out as an upset customer.Poor management. All she could say in the end was I'm glad you got your issue taken care of..... And she's not wrong, I...I...I had to take care of it.I've shopped at Eddie Bauer exclusively for years, simply because they have a good product and their return policy has always been superfluous to other stores.Thanks to derelict people like this assistant manager, I will no longer visit brick and mortar stores like the majority of this world, I'll just stick to online shopping.
