store manager is rude don’t shop there

Nothing wrong with the store itself but I had a very unpleasant experience involving who I believe to be the store manager who was verbally chewing out several associates for what sounded like a minor issue. This isn’t the first time I have visited this store and witnessed the store manager mistreating her staff hence why I am making this review as it is extremely unprofessional behavior and downright unacceptable in every aspect. Most of the front end staff seem to be young and do not deserve to be spoken down to especially in front of customers by a power tripping boss. I hope in making this review, someone in the HR department reaches out to the staff at that store and investigates what is going on behind closed doors as they deserve to be treated with respect and not be berated when their doing their best and trying to earn a living.

Great place for gifts and anything for the home! Love the once off pieces they have and love the collection of Italian coffee, pasta and olive oils they have!

This is a go to location for oddball holiday presents such as white elephant or small gift exchanges. They always have a collection of affordable seasonal items that are more unique than something you'd pick up elsewhere.

The store is a total scam.The cashier, who is a women with black-framed glasses, and the so-called store manager Wendy (I do not believe that she is the manager), are extremely rude and unprofessional with customers.I got a carpet this morning and needed to exchange for a bigger one. I lost the receipt so I called the store before I came, a man told me that I can get store credits if I lost the receipt. I went to the store and the manager told me “I am telling you now you need a receipt or tag…” Unbelievably rude, unprofessional, and uneducated. The cashier clearly lacks of training and her behavior was blunt.They cannot keep their word.I returned items at Target, Walmart and BestBuy without receipt but the credit card I paid for the item.Do you go. They need to relocate to other places, not Carmel.
