Our national Big usa bank has too many "cashless" branches - we could not find a place near us to get some $5 bills! Even their brand spanking new facility had NO cash! We checked out IMCU. Pleased to find they have cashiers who could give us small bills (instead of the twenties ATMs force on you). Pleased with the customer service. Opened an account on the spot. Very happy.

really stupid that we no longer can pay our car payment and our credit cards over the phone anymore. we rarely have time to stop by the bank to go in person to pay that stuff! just risks us ruining our credit anymore. the staff is absolutely awful. hung up on my boyfriend when he asked why he couldn’t pay his car payment over the phone anymore and then i call and are extremely rude. if we didn’t have a car payment with you guys are accounts would be closed!!

TRASH! Been banking here for over 15 years. Had a big check from a HOA and they refused to let me deposit it. Then lied saying that I need to go to the bank on the check and there is nothing they could do. So they put me in a not so safe position having to carry over $10,000 cash. Not to mention i even told them I was ok with a hold just needed $800 released. Also they have taken checks from this HOA before no problem. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU AS A CUSTOMER. The lady looked at me as if I was lying. If the lady would of looked at my accounts she would of seen i have been using them for years. I have had 4 car loans through them, always paid in full.

I recently moved to Indiana & IMCU has helped me so much with my transition. I was able to get a Credit Card, Car loan, & open a few businesses checking accounts. Lucy has been my rep & she’s been amazing. Very responsive, helpful, and patient.

Today I went to this branch and had a worst experience in any of the banks that I went in US so far. Went to enquire about one of my car loan that is coming to an end and also about the interest rate to compare for our new car that we are planning. First of all no one greeted which is fine as seemed busy. Bank representative asked me if it is any deposit that I can do in the kiosk and I said No and I will wait. Few minutes later she asked another representative to help me and she did not understood my request and also waiting for the earlier one to ask her some clarifications for me. Earlier one said to her that I can come back another day without even asking what is the need for me. May be there is resource shortage and overwhelming but this is definitely not a kind of support they can provide to existing customer who is also trying to be part of their business.

I used to love the customer service at the Greenwood and Westfield imcu locations. Everyone's polite at the Carmel location but I'm always pushed to use a machine to deposit. It's just really annoying to use the atm to deposit checks and it takes longer. The customer service is lacking.

Car I attempted to buy was totalled before I could take possession. I called to cancel the loan promptly, but was notified I had to visit the branch. Went in to cancel the loan without using the funds and was charged $248 in interest/fees. All communication was from a flustered teller as neither the AVP or Branch Manager would show their face and kept going back and forth on the phone with the teller to unapologetically apologize for sticking me with unnecessary fees in this unfortunate situation.Customer Service and Personal Relationship you would expect with a Credit Union are DEAD here.
