How can you call yourself a coffe shop and don't have a simple espresso, it's like selling a car with no engine....

I decided to try something new while going out for coffee but now I know that I will never come back to Java House. My Iced tedster was horribly bitter and the barista added way too much syrup to it. And when I got my chocolate cookie it was basically a hot mushed up lump at the bottom of the bag. When I brought my concerns to the barista she rolled her eyes and said she would be right back, 15 minutes later another barista comes back and asks if I had been helped, when I explained what was wrong to her she told me that they had some new people and a half- meant apologize with little to no sincerity. Never again.

Tucked in right next to Patachu right in the middle of Clay Terrace. Really cool ambiance. Plenty of warm lighting to cozy up the metal furniture a bit. Have to come early to snag one of the few upholstered chairs in the place. Employees are super nice. Coffee is really good. About $8 for a large peppermint mocha.

Came here for the first time and was recommended the seasonal Peppermint Cold Brew drink by Ava Ripple. She made sure to modify the drink for my dairy allergy and my goodness was it delicious!! She even gave me extra peppermint sprinkles ;) Awesome service and even better coffee. Made the gloomy morning into a fantastic day!

Ordered a hot vanilla latte and once they called me up to grab the drink the barista said she forgot to add the vanilla. So instead of remaking it, she put it on top which made my coffee taste like a crappy latte. Also, not a good working environment.

Slow service, bad coffee. One coffee was cold before the other one was even made.

Beautiful shop just north of Indy. Wish I could have stuck around but I had to keep driving. Had meeting rooms to rent which was interesting. Wasn't the best PSL of the year I've had. I guess they don't really do espresso. Would love to stop by again and try the straight coffee and sit a while and see if they can keep their 5 stars.

Conveniently-located, local cafe with a wide variety of coffee options and plenty of room to relax, meet, or get some work done. I'd highly recommend the Ethiopian brew as it had the right balance in taste. Not too fruity but not too acidic either.

Felt like everyone in there was judging me. Beyond that $7.44 for what I can confidently describe as the smallest coffee known to mankind is just highway robbery. I don’t care who you are, in a world where monster energy drinks are $3.50 or so after tax, $7 for a tiny coffee is just unacceptable.Parking: Sucks.

I love the coffee at Java House! They have so many options, but I highly recommend the Tedster or try their Affogato at the location in Midtown in Carmel. They have plenty of space to study and relax too.

Excellent coffee, great atmosphere, and locally owned! Great spot to meet and connect, and they also have areas available to hide away and get some work done ??
