They wouldn't give us our Covid vaccine even though we had appointments because one of us wasn't yet 65. Really? Nobody is getting Covid shots these days. But my 57 year old partner and I get one every 6 months because he has cancer and my 87 year old mother lives with us and she has cancer. Nevertheless they wouldn't let my partner have the shot. Apparently being immunocompromised with cancer no longer qualifies you for the shot nobody else wants. They were quick to say I could get mine, being 65. But I declined. We'll all get the shot in this family when we all can have the shot. Thanks for nothing Meijer.

Received the wrong medication. Errors like this appear to be commonplace at the retail pharmacies. Check your prescription bottles before you pay. You may not be receiving the right medication.

This pharmacy used to be a good place. I can no longer say that’s the case. They lied to me my insurance company and tried to put words in my mouth. I don’t like being lied to and disrespected. There is one guy that’s a pharmacist there he is the only person I trust that works there. The lady that’s a pharmacist is the one that needs training in customer service. Stay away from this pharmacy they hold you hostage with your medication. They should be prosecuted for the way they treat their customers.

The Meijer pharmacy in Carmel is one of my favorites in the area. The staff is always friendly, and their service is prompt. It makes picking up your prescriptions a breeze. I would highly recommend to anybody in the area.

I'm not one to ever post reviews, however both times that I've been here have not been pleasant. The first time I came to pick up a prescription, there was no line and the person who ended up taking care of me was on her phone without realizing I was waiting. Maybe I should've greeted, however it's their job to also be on the lookout. The second time, I went for a consultation and the pharmacist/doctor was very judgmental. Do better.

I have been taking the same medication for 7 to 8 years now. I always call the day before or two days before my fill date to make sure they have my brand of medication. Sometimes it has to be ordered and going days without it makes me ill. I have had to wait two days past the last date with this pharmacy before because he assumed I had plenty in my bottle. I am always told they have it and they check my date of last fill and tell me they can have that for me in a couple hours but recently a male tech gives me a call back to tell me he has plenty of my medication in stock but he wont be filling it until Sunday. Usually in a rude way like he says it with a smile. The females never do that to me they treat me what seems equally without judgement but the guy they have has fun telling me he has it but he's going to hold onto it for a few more days. I know he is stereotyping me because of my medication. I wish they would do something about him because I only fill them as soon as I can hoping I don't have to wait due to them not having it before I'd runout. so it's more of a prevention plan verses I'm trying to stock pile or something. But his customer service is horrible and he should be reminded people take medication day to day. It would be completely different if I had a week's worth but he worries about 1 extra day.

I just moved to Indiana two months ago and do not have a Primary Care physician as of now. During the interim, I decided to use a credible digital health company for my medication which is categorized as a Controlled Substance. Last month, I had my first prescription processed at Meijer Pharmacy without any issues. Yesterday, I called to have my second prescription filled and the gentleman on the phone said it would be ready in about 40 mins. I was unable to pick it up until the following day (today) and when I went to the counter and gave the girl my information she advised me they couldn’t fill the prescription because it’s their “policy” that prescriptions for Controlled Substances cannot be filled if called in by a TeleHealth doctor. When I told her that it was filled last month she replied that it was a mistake and shouldn’t have been filled. When I asked why no called me she said they did. I had no missed calls and no voicemails. I walked away to collect myself before returning and asking for the Regional President’s email and/or phone number. When I came back and asked the same girl for the info she said she would give it to me, walked away, and came back to tell me the Pharmacist would speak to me. After waiting a couple of minutes the Pharmacist asked about me wanting to speak with her. I said I wanted the Regional President’s, or whomever is equivalent, information because I am extremely disappointed in the way this was handled. I kept hearing about the policy which is NOT why I’m upset. I’m upset because this pharmacy had three opportunities to let me know they could not fill my prescription prior to me showing up today. One: when I picked it up the first time, Two: when I called to have it refilled the day before, Three: a call back immediately by a human after I called the day prior to have it filled. (I’ll add here that the Pharmacist also advised me they called me the day before and when I told her I had no missed calls or voicemails, she said it was an automated system that makes the call) At no point did ANYONE take responsibility for the poor handling of the situation and kept falling back on the policy. Again, I don’t care about the policy…a policy is a policy and with a controlled substance I understand the policy. What I don’t understand is ZERO empathy, ZERO accountability, and no solution to assist me outside of “Do you have a Primary Car doctor who can prescribe it?” Then when I asked again for the Regional President’s info, the pharmacist walked away and when she came back said her Team Leader is the one that handles complaints and will be here tomorrow if I wanted to come and talk to them. So now it’s clear she isn’t even listening to me because I told her I was going out of town tomorrow. I’ve been taking this medication for a majority of my life and one to two days without it isn’t awful but it isn’t easy, but to go potentially three, four, or five days without it can be a serious problem. Shame on you Meijer Pharmacy for not focusing on the customer, not being proactive, and not taking the health of your customers seriously.

Meijer Carmel Pharmacy is the best. The staff are very compassionate and have helped me so many times whether it is to find a lower price for a medicine, replace a lost ointment, solve insurance issues, provide an early refill prior to vacation.... Anyone can have a bad day, but almost without exception, Meijer Pharmacy staff have been courteous, patient, and truly focused on ensuring I have the (non-narcotimedicines I need, when I need them. A specific shoutout to NATASHIA 6/22/23. Thanks for being awesome!

I very seldom take my time to write reviews for any business unless I've received terrible service. That said I felt compelled to address what seems to be a low rating of Meijers Pharmacy here on Yelp. I have lived in Carmel and the north side of Indy for 65 years and have used just about every pharmacy. The people at The Meijers Pharmacy are by far the most professional and organized pharmacy I have ever worked with.I am anti mega store type person but in this case I think Meijers is the best pharmacy in this area by far. Yes, there have been a few staff over the years that have annoyed me but that's more a comment on the character in our current society these days. For the most part the staff at the pharmacy are great.Without using any names in reviewing other pharmacies in the area I will say that just about every single one of them is understaffed and seem to have very crowded setups and poorly organized systems. I drive a couple of extra miles just to use Meijers Pharmacy and recommend you do too.

Will tell you your prescription is going to be ready after 2, then won't have the prescription till next day after 5pm. Will waste your time, go to cvs instead

Everyone is always so helpful! Even when extremely busy everyone is pleasant and kind. The healthcare world is understaffed so being on hold is expected. Wonderful pharmacist and pharmacy techs!

TERRIBLE customer service. I am trying to switch pharmacies/transfer my medicine over to this pharmacy because it is the closest one since I can't use CVS anymore and I was waiting on hold (no one answering) for 15 minutes. Just goes to show what I would've been dealing with! I am now more willing to drive 4 miles longer to the nearest Walgreens.

Wonderful experience! I picked up my antibiotic Rx yesterday and it was great! The pharmacists and techs were so knowledgeable and kind; I recommend this pharmacy to anyone.
