After 5 years of horrible service at Walgreens pharmacy, I finally switched to IU Retail pharmacy. Unfortunately, there will always be times when someone may need a prescription sent to a 24 hour pharmacy provider…. You can always count on Walgreens to fail, fail, fail, AGAIN. They are too busy, don’t know what is going on with their current prescriptions, and drop the ball on necessary communication every time. When I asked why I was never notified that my prescription was ready the technician said, “I don’t know, but I can check later.” I told them to please check now, and I would wait. They put me on hold, came back verified my phone number, and said everything was current in the system. I again, asked why I did not receive a notification, she said I don’t know. I’m sorry. Every single time I have used Walgreens this happens. If a prescription is out of stock, needs to be written differently for insurance coverage, or whatever. They just drop the ball and wait for you to call in and solve the issue for them. I will be searching for a new 24 hour provider.

For the second time since moving to IN we had a prescription sent to this pharmacy and for the second time we will not be receiving it- they are once again blaming a third party. Much worse is the insane rudeness of EVERY pharmacist that we have spoken to. Please get your staff training ASAP - they should NOT be interacting with anyone on a professional basis

It never fails…. If I need to speak to someone it’s a 20 minute hold time every time. Today after 22 minutes on hold, they disconnected me. On to a different pharmacy that has time for their customers….

Nora the Pharmacist will argue andcfight and isn’t willing to call a college kid and apologize for her team misleading him and making him wait for a prescription the didn't have in stock. All we requested was for her to contact him and apologize that he had that happen. She wouldn’t. Walgreens has lost BE WELL. got to CVS where they have a heart!

Pharmacy setup is absolutely terrible since August 2023. You can't speak to anyone, and when finally do get someone they're in a call center and can't help you at all - and theyre rude, not even sympathetic about the hold times or the fact that they cant even tell you what the problem is "delayed" - so then you get transferred to another line where i held on hold for another TWO HOURS, no exaggeration. I had to hang up. I did a chat online, they were able to tell me the issue with my prescription (insurance wouldnt cover generic, needes to be ran as Brand) but couldn't help to do anything about the issue and don't have the ability to connect with the actual store. Ended up having to go into the store, the pharmacist was great, solved my issue in 5 minutes. Called the next month because i received notice of delay... probably same issue, called Pharmacy, held for 20 minutes, finally decided to try the "call me back option", 4 hours later I got an automated call back to press 1 to get representative, I held for another 16 minutes, got a monotone man who told me he couldn't help me and would have to transfer me to the store!?!? Held for 30 more minutes and decided to hang up and will go to the store tomorrow. Literally SO frustrating. This has been such an awful experience every month, like can someone just make a note on the account to use brand?! Our healthcare systems are being outsourced and no one cares about helping anyone anymore and it's sad. I'd switch Pharmacys but my company forces us to use Walgreens for local purchases.

Had a simple prescription, no one called all day long when I called late afternoon they asked a bunch of questions then said they are missing insurance info I am a walgreen member over 4yrs now l!! Well the lady said I will transfer you and kept me on hold 43mins then line disconnected. I m sick cannot talk somehow managed to drive to the store. "oh ur date of birth was incorrect but it looks like it's correct now but u need to wait 30 to 45mins if you want your meds right away bcos we had insurance issues"Are you kidding ?? They did not even bother to call back.They don't have advice sinus. All I see is walgreen products and promotions.Please avoid if you can. The CVS next door does a better job.

I work with a doctor's office and am working with an insurance company trying to get hold of this pharmacy to get a patient's prescription taken care of....have been on hold now for OVER 40 MINUTES. This is RIDICULOUS!! This is the second time I have attempted to remedy this situation for this patient, the first time we were on hold for 30 minutes and had to hang up without getting the problem resolved. If I could give negative stars I certainly would!!!

I understand that everywhere is understaffed, I was left on hold for an hour and thirty minutes (crazy I even waited that long) then hung up because clearly no one was going to answer. This is a consistent issue where you’re on hold for long times and whenever you finally get an answer the call is disconnected.

Walgreens always has what I need. The store is easy to navigate and everyone is friendly and helpful.

One of the worst Walgreens in the group This range line road location is poorly managed and the pharmacist are Not customer friendly nor willing to assist in solving a prescription problem they never ever have scripts in stock highly suggest utilizing Meijer pharmacy or Target at least they treat customers with respect and go the extra mile I try to avoid this Walgreens and nothing has changed since my last visit here one year ago

Lisa Maybe is the nastiest and most unprofessional pharmacist. She blames customers for misinformation given by her staff. She also laughs when you explain due to this mistake I am out of my medication and would have to pay out of pocket. Clearly Lisa thinks she entitled. I’ve been using this location for years and have never been treated so poorly. A manager should be a leader but instead she blames customers and makes fun of them. Don’t worry Lisa I filed a complaint with corporate as well.

My doctor spoke directly to the pharmacist about my script. I go to pick it up and they say they never got it. So he calls it in again. I go to pick it up again and they say there was a problem and it's still not ready. Now going to make my third trip. Wish me luck. Switching to CVS down the road. The people that work at this Walgreens couldn't care less about you or providing an ounce of service.

Waiting in line at the pharmacy while the staff has a casual conversation with a customer. No one acknowledged me for 10 minutes of their conversation so I went to the drive thru only to find out they hadn’t even filled my prescription after 24 hours. Now I’m waiting another 15 minutes for my prescription. Unorganized and unprofessional
