Made me feel like an inconvenience and was the most stressful experience just to pick up my prescription. I feel like I have to fight to get my prescription filled at CVS in Cedar Lake, IN and this is the SECOND time I have had this experience. The employees here don’t actually care about helping their customers and it needs to be known. All I wanted to do was pick up my medication, which I was told was ready, and they treated me with disrespect.

Idk why there’s always an issue with prescriptions here. Whether it’s my wrong address in their system (despite it being correct in the CVS app), can’t get my pets name and DOB correct, and never being able to use the family Good RX coupon (which has my pet as part of my family).Transferred a script from Walgreens, system said they were working on it then called in to verify and they had no record of it. Then after seemingly submitting the transfer twice, I go to pick it up and it’s capsules instead of tabs which is the only way my dog will take her meds. I always overpay against what the GoodRx coupon says and have to figure it out later with GoodRx and this time was no different except a $15 rebate coupon was supposed to be included with the purchase but the lady at the window knew nothing about that even though GoodRx says they are contractually supposed to provide it in plain writing. What’s the problem CVS? Do you not want to support your customers who use GoodRx?!

Very disappointed with pharmacy, went to get new prescription was told I had 2 not 1. So I got the two I just figured the Dr. Gave me 2 But Dr told me 1. I got home and the 2nd one was a refill But a OLD Refill, I called the pharmacy to say this and was told too bad so sad you accept it. I also said I ALWAYS tell You Never do I want Auto Refill! ( and this is why) but they just do what ever they want. eXT TIME I WILL NOT LEAVE BEFORE DOUBLE CHECKING

I've had nothing but issues with this pharmacy...My doctor sent a prescription for an antibiotic due to a sinus infection, I went to pickup my script 4 hours later and they said they had nothing ready for me. I get home and there is an automated call that they have a script ready for my daughter. I call the pharmacy and the pharmacist matter-of-factly said give me 5 minutes and we'll have it ready. I live in Lowell, about 20 minutes away. They incorrectly filled my antibiotic for my daughter...no apology. Today, I just refilled 2 rx's for myself and the robot said they'd be ready at 11a. I wait at the drive-thru line with about 5 cars ahead of me only to be told that they are to soon to fill. But the rude person at the drive-thru window repeated that she had no rx's ready for me. She then said that they came up too soon to fill...no courtesy call to inform me of this..During the 1 minute interaction, she very rudely repeated she had nothing ready for me...I drove away feeling attacked and extremely frustrated. I've worked in customer service before and I realize it is a demanding job. However, I was not rude or disrespectful towards this lady at all...I never got her name...young Indian lady without a name tag (how convenient). I will be transferring my prescriptions to the Walgreens across the street.

Another local pharmacy that appears to be struggling with fulfillment and customer service. Received multiple emails stating a prescription was auto-filled and waiting for pickup. We made a follow-up call to make sure it would be held until we returned from vacation. After driving from Lowell to Cedar Lake it wasn't ready, told it still needed to be ordered and wouldn't be available for 3 days or more.

waiting on hold for 14 minutes before talking to a human is ridiculous. THAT was the 2nd phone call first was over 10 minutes without talking to anyone. sitting in the drive through before being acknowledged for 12 minutes is not professional. at least acknowledge that you know we are there.

Rest of the real PHARMACY reviews are under the CVS store. This place is a complete hassle and a joke. Corporate needs to take a serios look at this place. Just start by trying to call the pharmacy, good luck getting through. I have never seen so long of a wait and a place constantly out of medication. That's why people go across the street to walgreens.
