This particular branch is friendly and helpful but the credit union as a whole is trash, very bad customer service if you need help outside of the branch. I would not recommend doing any business with this credit union.

I needed a consolidation loan, and it was my first experience with a credit union. Carlie was extremely helpful and so kind! She helped me through all my questions, concerns and was genuine during the whole process. Very happy with my experience! I highly recommend carlie for any loan or bank needs!

I been with Tech Credit Union since they open I'm in process of finding another Bank there Customer Service is Horrible there very Unprofessional... They said their service charges are like every other bank. I thought I was with a Credit Union Not A Bank.People's Bank Offers way more service and very Professional......

My home bound and handicapped friend had money stolen out of her account. She's on a fixed income. The bank was absolutely no help and just kept telling her she had to come in.My friend arranged for me to pick up a copy of her bank statement.The teller inside said oh no we don't do that and told me that she couldn't help me. And kept saying that my handicap home bound friend needed to come in.This is someone who has been an account holder w this bank for over 40 years.I was absolutely disgusted with how they treated the situation.*** In reply to the banks respond.Do you know protocol? Because yes, they did end up giving me a copy of her statement after she called AGAIN.The teller was completely useless and dropped a "have a nice day!!!" Dripping with sarcasm as I was already halfway through the lobby.This was a few months ago.Do better with your disabled account holders.

I went to sign forms on 9/12/2020 around 9:30am at the Crown Point Indiana location. I was directed to Heather D window. She looked bothered that I was at her window and immediately tried to see who she could delegate me to without asking who I was. After about 3 minutes she returned and asked for my information. She came back and said someone would help me. I was assisted by an elderly lady who was assisted by another woman who was knowledgeable. I was at the window next to Heathers signing paperwork. If you look at the camera that is at the tellers window you can see her trimming her finger nails at the window while all the other tellers were helping customers. That is very unprofessional. Each time she was asked a question by a co worker she had an attitude response. I was thinking this is horrible customer service. I have 3 stars because my wife refinanced her vehicle last year. Her experience was much better than mine that is why I refinanced with TECH. Please review footage on camera at around 9:35 am so you can see Heather trimmer her nails at the window in front of customers and not being helpful. The other 2 ladies I worked with were a pleasure to work with.Thank you

Filled out an application for a camper refinance. Had issues with the loan.person. Spoke to.the branch manager at the Cedar Lake office about the issues. He wanted us to reconsider stopping the process My husband received a voice mail today that we were ready to.close. We did not even know the rate or monthly payments. I received an email from.the loan person that we were working with today telling me they could not find the type of camper we had and they needed more information. How can we be ready to.close if you need more information? I tried calling Cedar Lake to get the branch manager's email.to share this last email. Elliott answered the phone and put me on.hold for six minutes and never came back. Seems like the loan person isn't the only one who needs retraining in customer service.

I just went to this credit union and all the staff were super nice and knowledgeable about their accounts and explained everything so perfectly that I didn’t need to ask any more questions. Definitely thinking about going back to open this account soon!
