Incredibly frustrating experience that resulted in us loading more than $150 back out of the car, parking it in the store and leaving mad. Self-checkout area was problematic generally, but I was able to scan everything but not pay. The keypad would not work at all. Employee was unable to address in a reasonable amount of time. Ridiculous.

I love the new DG in town! Itās cleaner and more efficient than the old location. My go to is their Saturday deals with their in store coupons! I can generally get a whole laundry bundle for about $10!! Itās crazy and my stock pile is huge that I can give things to other family members!! They are definitely my go to!!

Go somewhere else!! it is the worse dollar general in southern Indiana. shelves are not stocked. Employees donāt know what they are doing. And they had some sales on some stuff but they are not for sale on the checkout. Go to the one in otisco the best one around.

Visited this new location of Dollar General in Charlestown. It is a breathe of fresh air upon entering. The store is clean and organized, along with a grocery area that looks attractive, fresh and nicely stocked.The staff has been really friendly and helpful.The nicely lit and open parking lot is also treat compared to the previous location. Nothing better then walking into a neat, clean organized store with great staff!

Amazing compared to the older location. With it being a Market Place, I hope it stays nice and clean. I know that right now it looks great and is a much needed place here in town that doesn't require leaving town for a decent price on some groceries. My suggestion is if you haven't downloaded the app for DG, start there. You can save a TON if you add sales and coupons together. All in the app.

Dollar general market is pretty much a nicer version of a Dollar General with more products and also some added produce and meat. They are not as cheap as I wish they were being a Dollar General branch. The one thing that is nicely priced is their seasonal decor

Brand new store at this location so very clean. The store had lots of stock to choose from. The drawback here was the staff was less than friendly. All 3 ladies ignored us and yelled for each other to check us out. We would have done self checkout but the were all cashless.

Howdy! Nice to always visit the MANY stores in the area.I also understand times kinda suck with covid and such and people just being rude, but when a customer asks a basic simple question and the guy rolls his eyes and turns away as he answers the question halfway is not really acceptable customer service.I'll keep coming back, everyone deserves second chances.Thanks yall

Nasty, nasty, nasty. I get its a Dollar General, but do you have to make the store seem like its in a trailer park. No stock, no cashiers, and dirt and clutter EVERYWHERE. The manager should be ashamed and fired.
