The staff at gerber collision in Chesterton were amazing. They sent me updates on the whole process as they were fixing it. They were kind and quick. They made this process easy and my mind was at ease the whole time. I would recommend these wonderful people to everyone!

I've used Gerber for two separate incidents with different vehicles. They did a beautiful job both times. They kept me informed with how things were progressing, and if they ran into any hiccups, like parts delays, they communicated that to me as well. Thanks so much!

The work is good work. They will certainly take their time so don’t expect it to be done early and don’t expect it to be done for cheap. There’s pros and cons to that, if you can get a rental vehicle I would come back, if you cannot get one I would not.

My car was initially towed here after someone merged into me on I94. In the end, I was able to get a tow closer to home. But while I was waiting at Gerber, everyone there was so incredibly kind, giving great advice and even offering to buy me lunch. Emily was super patient with me and quickly secured me a rental car just in case. I was pretty shaken up, but everyone at Gerber made my day way better - thank you so much :)

LaRuntae (2020 charger)Mann these guys are AMAZING! Almost want to make me hit a curb on purpose just to be in the presence of the wonderful staff at Gerber Collision. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. My car was in horrible condition after my accident, but YOU wouldn’t be able to tell. They update you twice a week on your vehicles status! I had a journey with my claim and they were calm and understanding with me! Even went out of there way to make sure I had the best service ! Such a small shop that can make a BIG impact just because they make sure they return your vehicle in the best quality they can! Joe with his distinctive voice, hearing it over the update voicemails, and when I heard it in person I’m like THATS JOE. Oh Miss Ronnie, so sweet and kind! Making sure you are comfortable in the office and willing to answer any questions about your vehicle, and if you reach into the candy bowl her RULE “a peoce of candy in both hands!” Mr Ron, the GM so thoughtful and professional, makes sure any inconveniences are handled! The staff is so professional! You can have a shop full of people who work fast and rush the project and just put you back on the road with rushed quality, but I’ll take this small shop of few people who make sure they take time and fully inspect your vehicle making sure it is in better quality than you got it! Man my 2020 charger looks better than when I bought it! And drives better. Thankyou Ronnie, Joe, and Ron, and shop crew ! I really appreciate you guys service! I was overall thankful for them being able to take my car in and fix it in record time. I am also very impressed by the body and paint work. The disappointing part was that I knew something was wrong with my steering when the car was returned to me and my concerns were dismissed. The manager even took a drive with me and suggested that I was imagining the issues because I was "expecting something to go wrong". The manager did recommend I have my dealership inspect it if I was really concerned. I then took it to my dealership when I was still experiencing problems and they found a loose control arm bolt on the driver side and had to redo the alignment. Gerber took care of the repair cost but it shouldn't have happened. I just wish Gerber wouldn't have downplayed my concerns. I know my car, I knew something was wrong, and that repair mistake could've caused me to get in an accident and worse.Services: Body & Trim

My friend & I was traveling to Chicago for concert and on the way we heard scraping underneath her car and we luckily stopped here and figured out it was the exhaust shield hanging off her car, the guy was very nice to pull off the shield for no price, and let us carry on with our travels, thank you very much for taking 5 minutes of ur time to help us!Service: Exhaust
