Called for information and representative was very helpful, friendly, and polite. Have not used any services other than calling for information, but received great customer service and based on this phone experience, would consider for service needed in the future.

I have used this CPA firm for quite some time and for the most part, experienced no problems. However, BEWARE, when a mistake is made due to an oversight/error on THEIR part, they will throw you under the bus and not think twice about it. Ms. Judy Johnson neglected to inform me of a particular business tax form that was required to be filed and as a result, her negligence cost me nearly $1000 in fees and penalties. Hoping the issue could be resolved, I was expecting responsibility and accountability instead I received a response of avoidance and dishonesty, " I can't remember and I am retiring," later discovering she was still working in the office. When I addressed the behavior with the owner Ms. Darlene Kittredge, she also attempted to avoid any accountability by deflection- shifting blame onto me. Ms. Kittredge lacked any moral reasoning in serving public interest having no ability to be honest and no consideration with competence or quality of service. If you choose to retrain services at this firm, I STRONGLY recommend you require a written document/agreement if a mistake is made by their firm omitting/neglecting to provide valuable tax information/filing necessary tax forms etc., THEY assume liability for fees and penalties. Refusal/reluctance of this reasonable request, you have your answer for expectations of professional accountability. All too often we assume the accounting firm we choose will conduct themselves in a professional and honest manner upholding their CPA Code of Professional Conduct- professionalism, integrity, public interest, responsibility and due care. Unfortunately, at Kittredge & Zehner the behavior I experienced was well below these standards. 1

I have been using this accounting firm last 4 years since moved from Asheville NC. I had very bad experience with another firm in Portage IN before contacting Kari F. Zehner. She immediately asked me to come to her office which I did. She and her mother Darlene L. Kittredge are two wonderful people and professional accountants that made me feel comfortable with my taxes. Kari never say "I have no time to meet with you" even during the tax season. Their office staff are also very warm and courteous. thank you both for your services.

I have worked with Kittredge & Zehner every year since 1979. Our needs have changed over those years, but their Firm has provided the best service consistantly over those years. Kari has provided different scenarios for us to review to affect our tax liabilibity(retirement and HSA's). She makes recommendations for the upcoming year, which is rare. Everyone is friendly when you walk into their office. Darlene has set a high standard, best everyone seems to meet them. I highly recommend Kittredge & Zehner.

I have use Kitredge & Zehner for many years for my personal taxes and for 2 businesses. Service is always prompt and professional, and there is a real advantage in having one person handle everything, for planning purposes.
