I would highly suggest that whoever they have calling as a representative (Ryan) is more efficient in customer service. Ryan reached out to my company for an advertisement opportunity, and I was going to ask questions about following up for next year as we own a landscape company & with our company being seasonal, we wouldn’t have the interest in November to sign up, but come March, I would. We are a company that is very local to Hamilton county & Indianapolis area. When Ryan called to ask if we had interest- all I got out of my mouth was “We wouldn’t at this time-“ he cut me off and said “yep, bye” and hung the phone up. I was most certainly going to obtain his information to sign up at a later time but he threw that opportunity hanging up on a business owner who would have helped him sign up another customer. Better luck with the next person, Ryan!

Great course layout and very well maintained. Quite difficult but not too punishing or unfair. If you haven't played here before, I highly recommend it.

This is THE best course I've ever played, period. Best driving range I've ever been to, holes have a lot of character, very well maintained. Wish I lived closer so I could be a member.

By far the most overpriced course I have ever played. Not sure how this place has such good reviews. It’s a mediocre best. Both of us that played found it boring. The sand traps are literally cement. Fort and prairie view are way better for the price. This place is a $60 course max.

I really like this course. Very well maintained, with nice carts, nice people, and an extremely challenging track.

Beautiful golf course with a very nice links design (especially the front nine). A track you’d probably need to play a couple times to develop a good strategy. Nicely maintained. I felt as though the greens could have been larger in general to better fit the links style. Solid pace of play, solid value.

Great course. Playable as long as you're on the fairway but can get pretty thick if you get off. Plenty of sand and hills with some water as well.

Great course great shape. Hadn’t seen my high school buddy in fifty one years. Between Columbus Ohio and St. Louis we met here based on recommendations of others. White tee yardages were enough! Thank you.

The course is in beautiful condition! They offer junior camps and jr pga in the summer! They also offer Men's club, memberships and jr memberships! Mark, the head pro, is awesome!

Where do I begin. The price is absurd for what you get. I have no issue paying over $100 to play 18. However, for the amount being charged, the following are unacceptable: 1) the bathrooms were in worse condition than your average dive bar, 2) carts are dated, 3) clubhouse is dated, 4) the starter was great and friendly, but the man working the clubhouse was less than friendly, 5) there are multiple tee boxes that require walking up/down steep grass slopes or wooden "steps" that weren't safe, 6) the website is old, and finally, 7) the ranger hovered over our group all day. We played in under 4 hours in rainy conditions with cart path only rules in effect. Yet, inexplicably, the ranger was present on over half of our holes. We were playing serious golf on the final 18 of a 108 hole friends golf trip. We weren't drinking. We weren't causing issues, and we were following the rules. The guy hovering around us honestly deflated the mood of our finale.
The golf course itself is a tale of two nines. The front nine is really great. It's links style and offers great views and fair conditions. The back nine is bizarre. It's chopped up, gimmicky, and not well marked. Multiple holes without clearly defined landing areas, blind shots with no guidance from signage, etc. Perhaps playing the course a second time and knowing where to lay up and how far to hit certain shots I could change my view a bit, but I genuinely despised this back nine. Over 100 courses under my belt and this nine was up there with the worst of them.
The 2 stars came from course conditions, which were great even though the course had a lot of rain move through overnight, and because it appeared that they were trying to make some upgrades. There were multiple new bridges and some areas where it appeared the course was trying to make improvements. The bunkers looked well-maintained, but I managed to avoid them all day, and the heather grass, which I didn't avoid, was long and tough, but not penalizing. You can generally find your ball and hit from it...just don't look for more than a minute or you'll have the ranger breathing down your neck to "not waste time looking for balls" and keep pace.

Wow. I was expecting Bear Slide to be a nice course, but it truly exceeded my expectations. Played there for the first time today. The maintenance staff does a great job keeping the course in shape and like someone else said in another review, whoever designed the course was cooking. Can’t wait to come back!

Not gonna lie whoever designed this course cooked like crazy. This course feels like a 1900s links course. The back 9 is just insane. Everything is very well kept up. This course is probably the best and hardest course in Hamilton County outside of Purgatory. Must do for sure.
