Ashland Park in Clarksville is a beautiful and well-maintained waterfront area with stunning views of the Ohio River and the Louisville skyline. It features a large playground for children, including swings, slides, and tubes, making it a favorite spot for families. The park offers shaded benches perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery. Visitors can walk along the paths, take pictures of the river and city, or gather at the gazebo for parties and get-togethers. There are picnic tables, parking lots, and an ice cream shop nearby, adding to the park’s charm. It is especially popular for viewing events like Thunder over Louisville. Despite some ongoing road repairs, the park remains a clean, enjoyable place to visit, with plenty of spots to relax, play, and take in the beautiful views.
This is one of my favorite parks in Clarksville. It has beautiful scenery. A nice little playground. A gazebo for parties and get together all with an amazing view of the Ohio River. Rated 5 stars. Especially a great viewing spot for Thunder over Louisville.
