After being a customer 10 plus years and promised gift cards for their technician not showing up and never receiving them the final straw was when they applied my usual monthly payment to a closed account then suspended my account and said the system must’ve glitched but nothing they could do, wouldn’t make good on that visa gift card either, not to mention it’s the worst internet around, I cancelled and called Sparklight and had WiFi the same day and 70 dollars cheaper w free install and equipment and a free fire stick!! Our internet is working better than ever so thank goodness AT&T decided my service wasn’t worth 149.08 because I’m paying less than 100 now, I encourage everyone to change plus the technician actually showed up and AT&T left me hanging twice after I took off work and never compensated me!

Got there around 5:45pm to the door locked and a sign that was upside down and said that they were on lunch and the only employee. I’ve spent hours on the phone with customer service to no prevail so with my only day off and only opportunity to get things figured out I decided to sit and wait. At roughly 6:10 a kid pulls up in front of the door, gets out of his blue vehicle and says “we’re not going to be open for another 20 minutes.” I responded saying “you’re aware you close at 7pm, correct?” To which he responded “Yes. I’ve been busy all day.” Goes inside and locks the door, comes back out maybe 30 seconds later and gets back in his car and leaves. I’m not happy with the way that was handled AT ALL, and due to this being several days of at&t as a whole not doing their job correctly my patience is as thin as it can get at this point.

We walked up at 4:30pm on a Thursday afternoon and as soon as we were going to open the door, they put up a handwritten sign that they were “closing for lunch and would be back soon”. Very unprofessional considering 4-5 workers were standing in the store and watching us when we arrived.

Beware of AT&T. Senior Citizens when you sign up for the Internet, Phone and Satellite they do not tell you about the bundle deal. This could save you hundreds of dollars a month. Instead they take advantage of you. Knowing you are the best customer . Why? Because you need that connection. Its your peace of mind. Sometimes your only way of connecting with others. At&t scammed my dad and my step-mom from 2010 to 2024 with no remorse whatsoever. I put an end to their taking advantage of my dad. My step mom passed away in July of 2023 and i helped my dad figure out bills when i found all of this. I really hate when people take advantage of senior citizens. Like i said you should be ashamed. Not to mention your Satellite installer also put holes in his roof which caused water damage not covered by his insurance because it was a negligent installation. You didnt compinsate that either. Plus the data breach and you felt offering him credit monitoring would make up for your negligence once again. Im writing this off my step moms account. So you can look up the name here in Columbus Indiana and if you feel in your heart to Compensate my elderly dad for all your negligence you will know how to reach him. Sincerely pissed off Former Customer.
