This Dollar General, like so many others, is an absolute mess when it comes to employees. I tried to make a return of some brand new items that I had the receipt for and both employees present said they didn't know how to process a return and that I'd need to wait and see if a manager was there in the morning or try and do the return at a different Dollar General. I tried the latter and went to the one in Taylorsville only to find a sign saying they were closed. Then I went to the one in Edinburgh and the person there conveniently didn't know how to process one either. All of this trouble over ten dollars worth of product. The entire company just needs to go under.

Mediocre store. Always have to crawl over stock that's sitting in the isles, which is a tripping hazard waiting to happen. No items on the shelf because it's on the stock waiting to be put back. One person working, which causes slow check out times and is impossible for them to put stock away. Could be q good Store if management properly staffed the store to have the stock put on the shelf and remove the clutter from the isles.

My girlfriends favorite breakfast food is biscuits and gravy, and I forgot to get the biscuits (and promised her b&g for breakfast). Dollar general really helped us out with a morning emergency. Cashier was also very hospitable

This is amazing to shop. Things move quickly so you need to be on top. Love rhe nerchandise and rhe grocery part is great.
