Paid for a service I didn’t receive, a part that should have been in my vehicle at purchase, and a fee to cancel the ordering of that part. Not happy.
Today I hit a curb that made my front passenger tire bulge. To avoid a blowout, I went to switch to my spare tire.. after removing 4 of the lug nuts the 5th one was different, it was a security lug nut that requires a lug nut security key to remove. This key is supposed to be in my vehicle. It wasn’t. Dealership left it out and it was not in the recommended places.
This is fine. I drove very carefully to the Nissan dealership where I had purchased the car. I’ve been here plenty of time before with no issues. I called ahead while on my way and was told yes, they could put on my spare for me so I could drive to Belle Tire and buy a new one.
At the dealers I asked if there’s a way to replace my missing lug nut security key. Yes, it’s 75 dollars to order.
I payed in total 112 dollars… 32.50 to put on the spare and the 75 for the lug nut key parts order.
They told me my Sentra was ready to go and walked me out to my car. They opened the door for me and removed the plastic wrapping and mats from the drivers seat. I get in and I go on my merry way to Belle Tire.
I get to Belle tire and when I look back at my car, guess what, They didn’t put on my spare! I drove across town on the bulging tire that could have blown out, they didn’t perform the ONLY service requested. I called back annoyed and was told that I could come back to receive a refund.
At Belle tire they cut off the security lug nut because they didn’t have the tool to remove it.. They offered to do the same on the other 3 wheels and just replace them with normal lugs and I said yes.
I drive back to Nissan and they are prepared to refund for the service of 32 dollars I didn’t receive. I ask to cancel the part order, I don’t have the security lugs anymore and wont need the security key to remove them in the future…
For this they charged me a 39.86 restocking fee for the part they ordered, a part that should have been with my spare or in my glovebox to begin with! They charged me 40 dollars, which is more than the price to put on the spare THAT THEY DIDN’T PUT ON. I could have put on the spare myself in the parking lot if I had the piece that I needed and should have had, I already had the car on a jack and the other lugs off!
So, in whole, I was refunded 72.89 of my initial charges of 112.75. They made money off of me when they didn’t perform the service requested and ordered a part that I canceled the same day. Ridiculous. If it ends up coming in, make sure it’s in someone’s car so they don’t go through what I did.
Charged 40 bucks and waited around for nothing.

This is the 5th vehicle that we have purchased from this company.
We come back because they are so great to deal with. We like what we see on the lot, we like our purchases so far and we like our convenience with the process Thanks to Keegan Miller and the staff at Coumbus Nissan. You are awesome

We were looking for a manual transmission vehicle for my daughter. We looked at several and kept coming back to the Nissan Versa. This is a 2024 with around 1000 miles. Took my daughter to test drive it and she liked it better than any of the other cars from the other dealerships. The whole transaction was seemless and easy. Much to my surprise. I would buy another car from them.

Dealer marks are everywhere at this place. I was on their website looking at Matic-S Atf - 1 Qt X 12 - Nissan (999MP-MAT00S, it was priced at $14.39 per quart. Call and talked to their parts department over the phone and suddenly the price jumped to 15.99 per quart. So apparently calling over the phone costs an extra $1.60 per quart.

We paid for a platinum warranty and nissan of columbus tells us a deformed sensor isn't covered. Bull crap is what it is. Then to top it off they charged an inventory fee they said was for rags and towels used the whole day of work and divided by the amount of customers that day. They are a joke and we will never do business with them again and we will make it known

Update..... So drop off Pathfinder brought back around to Ford dealership...says it all done... Get in the car fine the new controller broken stuck in steering wheel trying to hide fact it was broken, keep in mind that I check out with the actual service manager... Yes actual service manager for Nissan repair shop... Open car door notice something off with steering wheel... New controller stuck in steering wheel service manager didn't even mention until I walk back in there this is not repair it broken... Oh Her response well it was broken out of the box.. the mechanic didn't notice that before leaving me to sit there for almost 3 hrs, and then tries hide the fact by not mentioning the new controller broken and mechanic broken trying to install it. I found the stand offs for controller on my floor mat, the mechanic didn't unclip the air bag which the controller sit underneath it instead he tried pushing it in by sliding it sideways therefore breaking it. I'm a diesel mechanic by trade and never would of release not attempted a repair without checking new part first basic 101 mechanics, then to top it off fact that they try to hide it and nothing tell me about it. Could of endangered my life if air bag when off, that would of hit me in face causing seriously injury opening the dealership to ligation. Better hope my part comes in because now you have damage my car and failed to proerperly repair and fact you try to hide bad repair. Now I'm without my property. If car not restore to how it was when I dropped it off I will be taking legal action against dealership for depriving me of my property, failure to repair vehicle, as well as well as the Magnus warranty act. Shame on you Nissan for allowing a dealership to try to deceive a customer. Lost a long time customer I only bought my Nissan from that dealership over 300,000 worth no longer. And photo is attach how i got car back..
So what was suppose to be great experience, not so. Brought Pathfinder in for warranty work, no parts... It take 4 weeks to get the part, this was on Aug 27, 2024.... Now Sept 25, 2024... No called ...so I called parts dept with RO, yeah part was here on August 30,2024... No phone call no update.... Excuses.... No excuse why it took customer doing the dealership work that Nissan pays you to do.
Get to dealership with 8:30 appt.... For a item that SRT is literally, stick rod in behind steering to unclip air bag, remove two screws install new module , reassemble.... Guess appointment, mean nothing , and customer service is non existent, maybe I should send them a bill for doing there work!
Lounge Broken furniture, dirty lounge area , shaking my head

I usually can’t stand going to dealerships, I usually feel pressured and never an enjoyable experience. I stopped by to take a look an Altima I noticed from the highway and spoke with Jascyn Martin, she was really helpful and went above and beyond and even helped me deal with insurance which I’ve never had that type of help. Everyone was really nice and helpful from the other employees, the manager and the finance guy. The trade in offer for my car was quite fair I didn’t have to negotiate to much. Overall I recommend Ford/Nissan of Columbus I would 100% buy another vehicle there again. I didn’t feel pressured one bit and felt like I received great customer service.

It was very good. Before I came to Columbus Nissan I had gone to another dealership on the North side and what a disaster. I am not a big fan when someone does not tell you the truth. I was told by my neighbor you were in Columbus and what a great experience. Everyone was so nice and helpful.
I will be back and when it is time to buy another Nissan I will come to you. You have earned my trust.
Thanks and God bless,
Steve

I take the car to perform Check 10K miles and Recall. I would like to receive more precise information about work done (What filters, fluids were replaced) and what should have in mind for my next check ( Parts and Labor expected for my next schedule).
