Automated phone service is terrible! Extended loop of press this number, hold, press this number.
Live operator in branch said they have a lobby full of people, and put me to phone loop with customer service.
There is never a good time to visit branch and you need an appointment for anything other than a new account!
Overall customer service is terrible. Wait time at drive up tellers is 15 mins minimum.

Each person I spoke with gave me different information on what to bring. Wasted my time obtaining documents just to be told by another teller that I need additional documents.

Do yourself a huge favor, just choose another bank. If youre not doing 6 figure buisness, these guys are never gonna do something in your favor. I wouldnt out that on anyone in the store, its just their comoany policys. Have been a customer over a decade always in good standing, and me and my buisness get treated better by EVERY establishment ive walked into since i moved banking solutions.
Additionally closing your account is made purposely drawn out so they can charge you
Fees. Would give zero stars if i could.
If youre an employee and plan to stay that way and have no plans of ever getting a loan, this is the place for you. Everyone else, just dont.

I have banked with PNC for 10+ years and they have normally been very good. Had a bad experience with just this branch.
I needed a simple document notarized. The lady at the teller counter checked and confirmed that they were able to notarize it. After waiting for 15 more minutes, the notary came, made us wait another 5 to 10 minutes, just to say that they were unable to notarize. She refused to listen to reason saying that they are not required to notarize. That is true but then we are not required to bank with them. Absolutely poor attitude and customer experience.

Worst in person service experience with this branch. Not sure how PNC is training their bank branch servicing employees. Not informing the customer what are required documents prior even though mentioned the purpose of appointment. Not taking customer on appointment time and just two employees were talking without taking us during our appointment time. They wasted my one permission hour from work.

Do not do business with PNC bank at all. Any location. I went in to there 25th street location to cash a check I received from a person with an account there. I have done this many times in the past with no issues at other banks but at PNC I had to pay a 2% fee for them to cash a check that was wrote on their account. Is this even legal? Also 2 forms of ID are required. I came prepared with a United States Passport and a drivers license. I was told the Passport was acceptable but she did not use it as a form of ID and was asked for a credit card or debt card of all things. Regardless I provided that can got out of there with most of my money. If you are a small business owner like myself I encourage you to not accept checks from PNC bank and if you do then get your 2% fee upfront from your customer. That is the only way these shady business practices are ever going to change. PNC is stealing our money.

They make up their own rules about check depositing in person. Either that or they are uneducated in this office. Their online app can take a check but they can’t? How odd.
