“UPDATE #2 We have our van back for a week now and so far so good. It is running smooth and we VERY much appreciated the professional way we were treated. Thank you for the way you treated us.**UPDATE*. They have contacted us and an agreement has been mutually agreed upon. We appreciate them reaching out to us.Thought we were doing something good for our van with taking it here, trusting them and having them do a check on our van. One thing we did not know is we should have had a degree in car mechanics before doing this and trusting them and their “warranty”. They changed all fluids including the transmission fluid, found out later from 3 different places they should not have touched it. It can and did screw up our transmission. Now they want $1500 to “fix” the problem(problem is between 3rd and 4th gear)which we have also found out this will not fix the problem. We may have a few days to, if lucky, a few weeks, then it will be something else. When asked about warranty, of course, this does not fall in it. For a place that has such “experts” you would think they would know this and not tell us “I can’t look in a crystal ball”. Since having had the van in there we have been back 3 times. I tried not to blame them and that everything was coincidental but after the last time I am done. Now on the low end it will cost us over $5,000 for a new transmission.Services: General repairs & maintenance”

“Unbelievable!!! Matt could have easily sold me a new transmission ($5-6k) instead, he researched and did his due diligence and found another solution! Not only did he save me $4-5k he had my truck fixed and back on the road in 24 hrs! I won’t go anywhere else! I am not the review writing kind of guy, but Matt impressed me not only with his workmanship and timeliness, but with his character! Thanks again AAMCO!!”

“Dartco Transmission specializes in Allison Transmissions. They sell anything you could need from an older Allison to a newer Allison. They also do Allison warranty work and have Dartco Remans with warranties. They stand behind their work. Their motto is Where Service Matters. They are a very friendly group of people and are willing to give you advice on your Allison. They will work with you to make sure you get exactly what you need for a great price. If this location doesn't have it, they can get it shipped from one of their other locations for you. They have been in business 40 years this year. That's a lot of Allison experience. If you want plenty of experience, nice people, older parts other places don't carry, new parts, warranty work, a Dartco Reman, etc. at a great price... This is your place!”

“We deliver wood to Cracker Barrel & had a 12 rick load on our gooseneck & when traveling down I-65 today, my serpentine belt broke cause the tensioner pulley busted. We got off @ Edinburgh exit & pulled into the nearest lot we could fit, searched mechanics, found a number for Greene's and called. He said "if you can get it here, we can fix it." And that's just what they did! I didn't shut it off so I was able to drive it there (even though the steering sucked lol) they got us in, and back on the road in no time! I highly recommend this place, the staff was nice & friendly, they did a great job on my truck & it was affordable!”
