I'm constantly amazed at companies moving everything online that never consider the "true customer experience." Ruoff sold my mortgage to FifthThird bank (they boast "a 5/3rd more!" Who would name a bank this anyway?). Of course I setup autopay but when you go to your mortgage account at 53.com, you can't see ANY of the autopay info ... none. "It's a system only employees can see..." Too funny. They'll give you an 800 number to call. If rates weren't high of course I'd shop for someone that considers the customer experience ... sadly I'd be giving up my "5/3rd more"! #FifthThirdBank #its2023

Ive been a lifelong customer of this bank, but this year has had alot of terrible changes, and it shows in the reviews. I am currently shopping other institutions.

Horrible customer service. Random charge shows up and I am now on hold for more that 2 hrs with their fraud service. Call them and they can't do anything other than direct you to a phone number that is automated and they never answer. Looking for a new bank now!!!

Deposited a check at the window. Took 2 days for it to clear and actually get deposited. Deposited check at Atm has been 6 days and the check still hasn't become available in account. All payroll checks so absolutely no reason the money isn't available. Don't understand why they take so long! It's my money and I need it when I deposit it.

Customer service doesn't have the same answer. Was told one thing by a rep and told another thing by a second rep. Not happy at all with this bank!

I hear a lot of complaints about other banks - random policy changes, rude tellers and phone reps, fees out the wazoo - but I can never sympathize. I've been with Fifth Third for 11 years now and I have nothing but good things to say about the company as a whole. This particular branch is spacious, quick inside and at the drive-thru, and has friendly tellers that have been there several years. The customer service line is always helpful, too.
