As long as the girl named Brittany she's kind of short works there I won't be back. She's the rudest most sarcastic, childish, and worst customer service worker I've ever met and they keep this girl for what!!!!! She is pushing ppl away cuz I'm not the only one. Tells old people in line to hurry up or she tells them to let her count there change cuz there too slow. That is not right and something needs to be done.

Hello fellow shopper,
I give them a 1 star because they do not enforce their own requirements- - even IF those requirements are not posted with clear intentions (see attached image and my true story)! HuH? Let me explain: For the last 3 years, I have driven from Kokomo to Converse (before 6 am) in order to get a breakfast sandwich and listen to the previous night’s news…
Three (3) weeks ago, my neighbor asked me to pick up a pack of smokes - - he can’t drive because of a broken foot and more importantly, quick trips
always alert his wife’s spider senses that hubby is smoking again. In turn, whenever our paths cross, she always asks if (let’s call him Bigfoot) has Bigfoot been smoking….
Ok! Fast forward, I am checking out of the Circle K and I get my ID out of my wallet (see my photograph of their tobacco requirements- - they check ID, nothing about Circle K requires a 66 year old man to have his ID scanned)!
I put my food and drink on the check-out-pad and with my other hand take just my drivers license and place it approximately 2 feet from the cashier’s face. I start to insert my money when I hear: “No!” “ I need to SCAN YOUR ID!” What? Your sign says have your ID READY- - not READY FOR SCANNING). I then say, once my drivers license is scanned, what happens to my information? Do you sell it? Do you keep it? Is the data stored for 1 day, 10 days, 10 years? And the big one: DOES INDIANA OR THE FEDS REQUIRE YOU TO SCAN MY ID? I will let you look up the answer….. She said, “ I don’t know?”
See where this is going? Last year there were 8.5 billion calls to our phones, which originated from everywhere and it is called: “Data Mining!” And, Circle K is up to their elbows in it if they can’t or won’t tell us where the data goes! This is how it works - - I hope this is waking you up? Just a little?
Next, the manager said from 10 feet away: if you don’t let her scan it, we will not sell you the cigarettes. Okay, now everyone starts to jump into the conversation, most are siding with the store’s manager/employee. That is, until I said, Wait a second, they don’t even know who is in charge of my/YOUR INFORMATION ONCE IT’s entered into the corporate system! HMM… Now you can see the smoke coming from the other shoppers’ ears!
Sorry Bigfoot, no cigarettes for you! At least from Circle -J- off They refused and put your smokes back on the shelf!
There is a part 2! And it gets crazy! Maybe you will read about it…. Bye for now, MTD, Kokomo, Indiana!
Put a note on their door if you want to discuss this or any topic! I will reply.

This was a fabulous experience. I've never encountered CIRCLE K's automated checkout but I did today. The cashier working was very pleasant, patient, and on point. She did it all with a smile. THANK YOU for your kindness. The world needs more people like her in our customer service industry.

The man that was checking me out at the register was very helpful on Gillingham me in on a brand of cigarettes that I came in for. He was funny and friendly and because of him I'll definitely go back. But there's no public restroom here-which is crazy and disturbing to me for a gas station/store!

The workers are good but get rid of that auto check out. We don't want that we want jobs for locals. Will not be shopping here as long as it's there.
