This is my Dollar tree experience today. I went there and picked up six items assuming they were $1.25 apiece as it has been in the past. I was expecting to pay around eight dollars but my total cost was over $26. I was not aware that some prices were high as seven dollars per item,so if you go there be sure and check the price of the item before you put it in your cart. One item of my purchase was Gillette deodorant, which was $4.50. Later while in WalMart I checked the price of the same deodorant and it was less than $4.50. so the moral of the story, buyer beware.

My name is Kelsey Mix and I'm a regular shopper at your Dollar Tree location in Corydon,IN that unfortunately is the closest to me since I live in rural KY, it's about 45 minutes away. My daughter's birthday was this week and I know DT carries Barbie items at a great price. I made a special trip 8/28/24 for these specific Barbie items. While I was there I purchased a few other items and left. When I got home, I noticed that half of my items were left at the store, including all the Barbie items I made a special trip for. I immediately called the store and got the voicemail both times, so I left a message the second time and never heard back. I'm a nurse in Louisville KY so as soon as I was off today 8/29/24, I went straight to the Corydon location. I asked if any items were left behind and the manager on duty, couldn't have cared less. He didn't even offer to check the office. I told him I lived really far away, and that I had called but he just stared at me. The sweet cashier asked him to open the office and she checked for the items herself. She stated that 'all forgotten items are put away in the shelf' even if they have already been paid for. I went and re-grabbed the items and the cashier told me 'I'm not going to charge you for items you already paid for', bagged them up and let me leave (even though I told her I would just re buy them and let my bank handle the other charge) I just drove 45 min each way so I was getting them regardless. Well, I assume the asshole manager said something to her because no sooner than half way to my car, she shouted for me to come back and pay for the items. She pulled me in front of the entire line, told me I needed to pay for the items and even made me look at the camera since I was 'stealing'. I am not blaming the cashier, she was stuck between helping me out and losing her job (over doing the right thing), I am however, blaming the manager. He refused to help, look for my items, and forced the cashier to come back out to make me pay for the items a SECOND time. Is this company policy? To return items that are paid for back to store stock? And then make people feel like stealing for not paying for items twice? I'm irritated and honestly humiliated that it looked like I was stealing. I had to pay for my items twice and I'm so frustrated the manager couldn't have cared less. I take care of people for a living and I can't stand people without a little compassion. How can we make this right? There are many other stores I can shop at but Dollar Tree has always been such a fun place for me....but will no longer be if company policy is to force people to pay twice for items that were carelessly put away, even after I called with my information and returned less than 24 hours later.

Not quite a tornado but the store was "disheveled" today during my quick stop. Some merchandise on the floor, some boxes waiting to be stocked and a queue at the register.I can almost always find something in a Dollar Tree that I need to buy and today was no different. A couple of greeting cards for birthdays that are coming up and a pair of nice pens for the Sprinter. By the time I got to the register, most of the people waiting had already been taken care of.
