FIRST TIME VISITING THIS LOCATION ON 03/07/25 AROUND THE 2:00PM HOUR IT WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE. THE STORE WAS CLEAN WELL STOCKED PLENTY OF DIFFERENT CHOICES ESPECIALLY THE HOT FOODS DEPARTMENT. THAT IS THE AREA WHERE THE FOOD ( DINNERS) HAVE BEEN PREPARED FRESH AND U ARE EXPECTED TO REHEAT THE ITEMS LATER VIA MICROWAVE. YOU ARE ALWAYS EXPECTED TO CHECK FOR EXPIRATION DATES. THAT IS WITH ANY STORE PARTICULARLY STORES SELLING PERISHABLE. THE PRICES ARE A LITTLE HIGHER THAN THE COMPETITOR BUT IT WAS CLOSE SO I DECIDED TO CHECK OUT THE LOCATION. SO I WAS IMPRESSED FIRST TIME AROUND AND WILL BE GOING BACK BUT WILL BE VISITING OTHER LOCATIONS/AND THE COMPETITOR IN THE FUTURE.

It's Sunday, March 2nd. After reading numerous reviews, I see that management does not take the time to respond and that does not surprise me based on my recent experience. I am leaving this for other shoppers and potential new shoppers.
I was raised to speak to people, especially if I look them directly in the eyes. It's also just the right thing to do. I get to self checkout and bagged everything. I notice my surroundings and noticed the self checkout clerk wish a man who checked out prior to me a nice day. I was the only person in self checkout at the time, I walked right past her and she said absolutely nothing. I had a question about an item I purchased so I turned around and said, 'Hello, Good Morning'. She looked at me as if I was speaking another language so I repeated myself and proceeded with my question. I eventually walked over to customer service and walked right past a manager, I know because I looked at her name tag. She was so deep in a conversation that she could not say hello. Again, odd.
As I am leaving the store there is an older lady by the shopping carts. As people come in to pull a cart she says hello, as people are leaving to return a cart she says hello. As I walk up to return my cart, she said absolutely nothing. I said hello, how are you? She then said oh hi, it's a beautiful day isn't it? Yeah, sure is.
Color should not be a factor when it comes to good ole customer service and how to treat others. I will point out that I am black and everyone I encountered was white. It's hard not to feel certain things when you feel as if you are being singled out. I frequent this store often, however, I will choose to shop elsewhere. My experience tells me a lot about the management style and I refuse to spend my hard earned money at a place that has low morals and lacking of common decency.
As a writer, I will write a blog about this experience in hopes of increasing social awareness and educating others how to be kind no matter what the color of your skin is.

Big store, lots to choose from. Use the digital coupons and watch for deals, especially on meats. You can get great prices if you watch for sales.

If I can give 0 stars I would I ordered chicken for my son’s party on a Wednesday for Saturday confirmed the order with the lady on the phone! An hour before my sons party they told me they didn't have a order for the chicken spoke to a manager named Jodie and she was NOT accommodating at all they didn't even offer to make the order all she said was we don’t have the order as a customer for years this was very disappointing I had a 100 people with no chicken I will never deal with this Stracks again! They need to hire better managers!

Wish this chain would change the layout designed to force you through entire 1/2 of the store (1980s concept?). It isn’t competing with small IGAs any more. open up the front of the store layout ! Force us to get lost in the back of the store and buy stuff we hadn’t planned!

They have an awesome selection for flowers and great cheap fresh sushi , and if you need 1 or 2 things great spot to go , but overall it's pricey for every week shopping.
