scam!!! do not trust this bank! They sent me an email to refinance my car loan and state it's not for current customers but for new ones!

The amount of disrespect at this business is unbelievable. I came to handle a dead parent's account and this business gives me doubt, endless questions, and a long list of demands to close the account. This is even after providing all necessary documents and proof of identity.Every other major bank I have dealt with handled the matter within minutes and didn't treat me like a criminal. The death of a loved one is traumatic enough with a business like this rubbing salt into the wound.There was also significant difficulty handling personal matters with this company. While handling matters for a dying parent, this business took sickly grunts on the phone as proof of identity over signed and witnessed legal documents from an attorney and government employees. This business has absolutely refused to cooperate at every turn. It was a complete nightmare dealing with all of these matters.

Worst credit union I've ever done business with customer service is not supportive nor understanding to any problems that they're customers face or go through it's all about the dollar bill to them I will never recommend this credit to anyone if your buying a new vehicle and they want your loan run away as fast as you can!!!

5 years ago, the customer service was so pleasant! It hasnt been pleasant for quite some time. I rarely go to this branch, but had the displeasure of going to the CP branch today. It is unbelievable how rude the tellers are in the drive through. It would make the drive through more efficient and pleasant if you quit socializing with each other, and focus of the member in the drive thru lane.As I watched the tellers laughing back and forth, the one teller says, and I quote.."Do you have a question?...I said What? She replies..Well you're looking at us, so do you have a question."Unbelievable, you'll really go far in life with your poor, entitled attitude.

I applied for a car loan and it took over 50 days to close. No one knows what they are doing there. I was working with a Monai who kept calling me all different names but my own and she was very unprofessional. They kept Blaming the seller for the delay of the title when she was also financed by Tech credit union and they should of held the title. They ran my credit twice which made my credit score drop. After the closing Monae still called me to ask about why I didnt pay a $30 dollar title transfer fee that the seller was charged for when Tech credit are the ones who printed all the paperwork charging the seller the $30 transfer fee not me. The only reason I used them was I already had my credit run twice and since the seller of the car was financed there I thought it would be fast and easy. Boy was I wrong!!!

They changed debit cards and the new ones were supposed to start July 13th it's now July 29th still have no new card. I live in FL I'm out of money and hope. Brutal

I urge you not to bank with small banks like this. Multiple years I've been stuck here and dealing with not having support when issues arise with my card. The most recent which has been a change to allow tap to pay (finally years after it's been a thing) has resulted in me having no access to my money until my new card arrives. Which it's been weeks since it said it would and I just ordered another and it could be an additional 10 days to receive another card meaning I have no access to my money outside of physically going to the bank to get cash. A huge inconvenience. It makes more sense to deactivate an old card once the new one has been called in to activate. Once I get the new card and have access to my money I will be searching for a larger bank that I can rely on without fear of not having access to my account for almost two weeks. Do not bank with them.Update in response in the response: Currently you don't offer instant issue debit cards, drove to a branch and asked about this and since they are in the process of switching to new debit cards that can tap they don't have instant issue yet and I'll still be without card for 10 days. Thanks for nothing ?

My last visit with Tech was at the East Chicago location and it was so pleasant that I will travel from Gary to the E.C. Branch to handle all of my banking transactions from here on out because of the attention and empathy shown to me by Germaine and MSR AS 1212… I love all the tellers at the Gary branch but the ladies in E.C. Made me feel like I was family and that my business was valued.

Tried for several loans and even with great credit I couldn't get the best rate. Went to get MC loans and found a loan 1.5 points better somewhere else.

MAX of 2 stars. Would never get a car loan from Tech Credit Union again. They take my money early out of my bank account, then don't post it to the loan and send me late payment reminders every day via email and text - UNTIL I call them and ask them to stop. So last month the lady told me that someone FORGOT to put in place to automatically apply it to the loan and she was fixing it. She was nice. TODAY???? The female associate told me: Do you want to hear or do you want to CONTINUE ASSUMING? I gave her my feedback about her substandard Customer Service right there. She ignored that completely and instead went to tell me EXACTLY what the person the month before told me. Then said evidently the person before her didn't fix it. Their Customer Service is pitiful!!!

Credit union that likes to take your money from you and charge you fees. Sign up for alerts, never get the alerts until after I’m charged fees. Then give me some excuse that is not relevant to the situation and proven to be a false statement. Same on going issue. Need to move my account.
