“The first time I arrived. I was immediately taken by the super cool vibe. The store was like entering my older brother's room. Pure music appreciation Like my brother, The cool dude behind the counter had a plethora of rare facts behind the scenes of my favorite bands and singers. Stop in! You'll thank me”

“Went here after getting a coffee next door. The owner was very nice and explained today's sales. This place was so cool browsing around and the place was decorated for Memorial Day with cute red, white, and blue dogs. What an awesome gem! They have everything: books, jewelry, clothing, shoes, antiques, glassware, and dog treats. I got a gold necklace that was part of 20% off sale they were having. I also got some peanut butter coconut carrot dog treats, which were reasonably priced. My dog will love them”

“I ordered a tuxedo coat and pants combo and after placing the order John called and questioned my sizes. Well after talking to him I designed to order what he recommended and when it arrived it fit perfectly. The quality of the tuxedo is top of the line. If you need a tuxedo I highly recommend buying from Dunhill they are great to work with and you can’t beet the price.”

“Nice small shop where it appears you can rent small booths to sell your things. Not many treasures to be found, but prices are mostly fair. Depends on the vendor, though. The back room is increasingly becoming a place to sell expired snacks.”

“Great experience way better than Valpos Plato’s. They had givin me 4 items for $18 and didn’t actually look at my items they just took stuff from on top of the tote plus made me wait 4 hours without a call. I come to the Merrillville location and they give me $320 for 60 items saying I’ve had some of the best items they have seen come in. Shows who actually does their job. Lady’s were also very kind and looked thru my items quickly. If you need money for your clothes come here. Same thing happened in the beginning of 2023 as well. Went to Valpo and got $40 and came Merrillville and got $160. Will keep coming to Merrilville. Always get a better vibe walking into this location too. I’m done with the Valpo Location from now on ?”

“Most salvation army stores have understated decorations. Walls are plain. The atmosphere feels old BUT on the plus side they are neat as retail stores that sell clothing items can be. This location is well kept. Better then many of their locations.”
