“We just love Mary at this store. We call it Mary’s store. She is so kind and knowledgeable about everything in this store. She is always friendly and so helpful. She really makes you want to come to this store. We pass up other Dollar Generals to go to Mary’s. I know a lot of other people feel the same way. I don’t know what she makes but it’s not enough for how much she does at this store. Give her a big raise!”

“This is my favorite dollar tree, I go out of my way to come to this store because of the amazing employees and they always stay on top of keeping everything stocked (if I can't find something at the other dollar trees I can usually find it here). You can tell when a place is run by people who really take pride in their work the way they keep the store organized and clean. There is a cashier- petite, short hair with glasses who works the register most mornings she is so friendly and helpful; she truly makes every shopping experience here great. I hope management treats her well/gives her a raise because she goes the extra mile for every person that comes in the store, that's a rare gift I genuinely appreciate when I see it!”

“The cashier Kayleigh was absolutely wonderful! She was the only one working and took the time out to help me, And made sure I got everything I needed to find. She was very sweet and kind, and made All the extra effort, everybody should give ❤. The store should be very thankful and they are very lucky to have her as an employee!”

“Dollar General is always one of my favorite places to waste an hour wandering around, and the Manager and late night staff at this location are some of the best. Thank you ladies.”

“I went here to get laundry soap and was trying to download the coupon app on my phone but it took a long time about 15 minutes so I ended up putting a couple of the items back because I didn't want to wait in the store any longer for this to come through and purchased other items so instead of getting the tide we ended up with Purex it's a good store to clean store very friendly employees”

“I was impressed with service today at the one off scatterfield by Payless. There was a very tall young woman my son asked to help with something on a high shelf and she was very friendly and good looking said my son. Definitely going back!”

“The store manager here is incredibly good at his job! I took notice to the way he greeted all customers that came through the door, made pleasant conversation with the lady before me in line and also in those throughout the store of different deals, etc. Up sold in a way that was not pushy or annoying! As a business owner myself I had to get on here and praise him! He noticed what I was looking let me know where another selection of similar items were at throughout the store without me asking, and I ended up getting other things from the area that he suggested that I would’ve not done had he not! I didn’t catch his name, but I did catch an over hearing that he will be going to the 38th St. in Columbus store! So whoever that man is given him a race because he was pleasant, was happy to be there and did great at his job! Finding employees like this is rare. Take care of him!”

2530 Broadway St, Anderson IN 46012
“Love this location! I'll drive all the way from Alexandria to come here. Barbie is the best at keeping well kept with the store and her team is so friendly and nice and always quick to help me out when I come in the store. They always honor their deals and prices when things don't ring up correctly. The store is overall more clean than the others in town and always have full shelves and less things piled up in the isles. And the restroom was even comfortable to use as well and very clean. Keep it up Broadway dollar general y'all know how to rock! Thank you.”

4300 S Scatterfield Rd, Anderson IN 46013
“Offerings are typical of a Dollar Tree, location is generally kept clean. Some aisles stay messier than others and have stock sitting around for a bit, as is to be expected from a company well known to be staffed at the bare minimum everywhere. But the employees at this location are friendly and capable.”

415 S Scatterfield Rd, Anderson IN 46012
“By far the best Dollar General in Anderson. The women that run this store are militant about their sork and the store's presentation. Great employees and a large selection of well stocked items!”

4947 IN-9, Alexandria IN 46001
“Store can definitely use double the amount of employees then it currently has, just like the 5+ other DGs that are within 10min drive from this one… it’s nice that it’s new, but would be better if they could actually put products on the shelf’s instead literally everywhere else but the shelf itself(also like all the other lcl DGs). But whenever I need help, it’s available, sometimes it’s even offered w/o me having to go on a safari looking for help(like one has to at a WalMart or Lowes..).. so it’s 5-Stars bc of the age and the obvious external factors causing majority of the issues… but you can only shift the blame for so long before this review goes quickly in the other direction”

“I'm so excited that we have a dollar store in markleville now. The only complaint I would have is that everything is 75 cents to a $1 more at this dollar store then it is at all of the other ones”

“I feel like Troy deserves a raise /promoted, he went out of his way last night to help me. I've been sick, my family has been sick & I was in need of food & treats for my pet. I feel all the employees deserve a promotion of some kind. When I'm able to go inside, they're always working hard either by stocking shelves, waiting on customers, and or cleaning. Thank you Troy & Thank you to All the employees for your help & your understanding. Stay Safe & God Bless You All. Tam”

1211 E 53rd St, Anderson IN 46013
“This location has been under new management (me) since the beginning of October 2023. I just want to share some updates for those who have given lower level reviews. The parking lot was completely torn up and repaved in November. NO MORE CRATERS!The store itself: still a few items on the floor that get stocked throughout the shift by cashiers, such as the health and beauty areas, BUT, I was able to get a TON of out of stock items back in the store and back on the shelves. We have a whole new team in the store and have gotten nothing less than amazing reviews from our valued customers! We aren’t where we want to be, but for those who have ditched this location due to bad experiences in the past, come back and check out the improvements we have made SO FAR!! Plenty more to come!”

“A lot of nice things at a decent price for a home...decor, towels, rugs, yard decor etc. Cleaning supplies, hygiene, food n drinks, snacks. A good place to go if you don't want to deal with a big crowd. I stop in this store often, good selection (literally from the floor to the ceiling).”

1315 W 38th St, Anderson IN 46013
“I work at this store. We work very hard to keep it clean. Our store is very small and also not updated to the new systems all the others are. I love working here and I love my customers. Yes, sometimes we have to close due to too many rolltainers and not enough space for product. We're doing our best so a little appreciation would be great! Have a blessed day!”
